The hitch includes 5 hex cap screws (HHCS) M12×1.25, 35mm, class 10.9, zinc-plated (part 10-10275) and 5 conical washers (part 30-00149). These fasteners secure the hitch to the frame rails using existing weldnuts.

You must remove: (1) lower underbody panels if present, using a small and Phillips head screwdriver; (2) the tow hook/bracket from the passenger side frame rail (4-5 bolts). You should also lower the exhaust to ease installation. All removed parts should be returned to the customer.
No. The exhaust should be lowered to ease installation (step 3), but it must be reinstalled after the hitch is secured (step 6). The lowering is temporary to provide clearance during installation.
Two people may be required to ease installation. While one person may be able to complete the installation, having a second person will help with positioning and securing the hitch.
