Fishwire 7/16" carriage bolts with SP2 spacers into position through the access holes in both frame rails. The fishwire is left attached during initial positioning, then removed after the hitch is raised into position and secured with the U-bolt. The 7/16" hex nuts are then attached to the carriage bolts.

Raise hitch into position and secure to U-bolt with 3/8" hex flange nuts; remove fishwires and attach 7/16" hex nuts to carriage bolts. 6. Torque 3/8" fasteners to 43 lb-ft and 7/16" fasteners to 59 lb-ft. 7. Trim heat shields around hitch and reinstall. 8. Raise exhaust and reattach 4 rubber isolators.

Four 7/16-14 UNC Grade 8 carriage bolts (10-10281) with 0.250 x 0.88 x 2.25" square hole spacers (CM-SP2) are inserted through access holes in both frame rails. These are secured with 7/16-14 UNC Grade 8 serrated flange nuts (20-00103) and torqued to 59 lb-ft.
The hitch is secured to the 3/8-16 UNC U-bolt (10-10566) using two 3/8-16 UNC Grade 8 serrated flange nuts (20-00102). These fasteners are torqued to 43 lb-ft.
