This particular kit fits certain years of the Nissan Qashqai and Rogue Sport (see application info to verify vehicle compatibility). It provides a weight carrying capacity of 3,500 lbs. GTW and 525 lbs. TW. CURT class 3 trailer hitches are typically used to attach and haul utility trailers, boat trailers, campers, snowmobile or ATV haulers and more (NOTE: Never exceed the lowest-rated towing component). Each class 3 hitch has a 2" receiver tube and is tested in accordance with SAE J684 for safety. The kit includes: (1) M12×1.25 hex head cap screw (part 10-10277), (1) 1/2-inch conical tooth washer (part 30-00149), (2) 1/2-13 UNC carriage bolts 1.5 inches long (part 10-10287), (2) 0.250×1.00×2.00-inch square hole spacers (part CM-SP12), (2) 1/2-13 UNC serrated flange nuts (part 20-00062), and (2) 1/2-inch fishwires (part 1_2 FISHWIRE).
Thread the two 1/2-inch fishwires through the carriage bolts and spacers, then feed them through the enlarged access hole in the driver side frame rail. Once the hitch is raised into position, feed the fishwires through the rearmost holes on the hitch, then remove the fishwires. The carriage bolts and spacers remain in place to help position the hitch.
