Whatever your task at hand -- whether it's launching that boat before daybreak, setting up your camper before the rush or getting a final load to the dump before close -- CURT class 3 trailer hitches offer the strength needed for serious towing. They make it easy to hitch up and Bring It, offering a vehicle-specific fit and the weight capacity to handle a variety of trailers. Custom class 3 hitches are the most common type of receiver hitch for pickup trucks and SUVs. Because of their weight range, they are also found on full-size cars, crossovers and minivans. Each custom-fit class 3 hitch package is made for vehicle-specific mounting. This particular kit fits certain years of the Buick Envision (see application info to verify vehicle compatibility). It provides a weight carrying capacity of 3,500 lbs. GTW and 525 lbs. TW. CURT class 3 trailer hitches are typically used to attach and haul utility trailers, boat trailers, campers, snowmobile or ATV haulers and more (NOTE: Never exceed the lowest-rated towing component). Each class 3 hitch has a 2" receiver tube and is tested in accordance with SAE J684 for safety. To ensure that CURT class 3 receiver hitches have what it takes for serious trailering, they are designed using a hands-on approach and are constructed with rugged, high-strength steel and precise welding. We also protect our class 3 hitches in a co-cured finish of liquid A-coat and black powder coat for superior resistance to rust, chipping and UV damage.
CURT custom wiring connectors are the easiest way to outfit your vehicle with a CURT trailer wiring connection. They are built with some of the most advanced technology in the industry, and each one is custom-fitted to work with a specific make and model. Some automotive manufacturers install a special socket on the vehicle to be used for vehicle-to-trailer wiring. Although this special socket is not equipped on every vehicle, a CURT custom wiring connector -- also called a T-connector -- utilizes the socket for simple, stress-free installation. Rather than requiring you to cut, splice and solder into your vehicle's wiring system, the custom wiring connector uses a single OEM-compatible plug and instantly provides a standard, universal vehicle-to-trailer wiring connection, typically in the form a 4-way flat. All CURT custom wiring connectors are made vehicle-specific for the easiest possible installation and the best fit. This particular plug-in connector provides a 4-way flat socket and is designed to be a custom wiring option for certain years of the Buick Envision (to verify your vehicle compatibility, see application info). It comes with all necessary hardware to establish a solid connection. It also comes with a dust cover to keep the connector socket clean when not in use. To ensure long-lasting reliability, all CURT custom wiring connectors are thoroughly tested for optimal functionality. Stress is the last thing you should feel when towing a trailer -- whether you're hauling your RV to that favorite camping destination, your ATVs up to the hunting grounds or your fishing boat to the new hidden hotspot. At CURT, we think your towing equipment should add to the enjoyment of your experience, not detract from it.

Yes, the CURT 13405 is designed for 2019-Current Buick Envision SUVs. Verify your vehicle matches this year range and model before purchasing.
The CURT 13405 is rated for a minimum of 3,500 lbs trailer weight and 525 lbs tongue weight as a weight-carrying hitch. However, you must never exceed your vehicle manufacturer's recommended towing capacity, which may be lower. Check your vehicle's owner manual for the final towing limit.
The CURT 13405 is designed for 2019-Current Buick Envision SUVs only.
No, the CURT 13405 requires no drilling. It uses fishwire hardware and existing vehicle mounting points.
You will need: a flat head screwdriver, 11/16" socket, 15mm deep well socket, ratchet, torque wrench, T15 torxbit, and safety glasses. A 15mm deep well socket is specifically required to remove the M10 flange nuts from the bumper beam attachment.
The kit includes 2 carriage bolts (7/16-14 x 1 1/2), 2 CM-SP2 spacers (.250 x .88 x 2.25" square hole), 2 hex flange nuts (7/16-14), and 2 pieces of 7/16" fishwire.
Two people may be required to ease installation. If you are hesitant to undertake this task on your own, contact an authorized CURT installer for additional assistance. Call CURT Technical Support at 877-287-8634 for help.
Remove the 2 screws holding the bumper fascia using a T15 torxbit. Save these screws for reinstallation. To ease installation, you may also remove the 4 white clips from the rear of the bumper fascia and save them for reinstallation.
Use a 15mm deep well socket to remove one M10 flange nut from the bottom of the driver side bumper beam attachment location. Repeat this on the passenger side. Save both nuts for reinstallation.
Fishwire one 7/16" carriage bolt and one CM-SP2 spacer through the access hole and out the rearmost hole in the driver side frame rail. Repeat on the passenger side. Leave the fishwires attached. These guide the hitch into position through the mounting holes before final fastening.
Gently pull the fascia down and raise the hitch into position while guiding the fishwires through the mounting holes. Ensure the hitch does not damage the kick sensor. Hardware may need to be temporarily pushed into the frame to position the hitch over the bumper beam studs. Once positioned, remove the fishwires and loosely secure the 7/16" nuts, then secure the existing M10 nuts onto the bumper beam studs.
Torque all 7/16" hardware to 59 ft-lbs and all M10 hardware to 40 ft-lbs. Secure the bumper fascia screws with a T15 torxbit socket.
All 7/16" hardware, including the carriage bolts and hex flange nuts, must be torqued to 59 ft-lbs.
All M10 hardware, including the existing M10 flange nuts on the bumper beam studs, must be torqued to 40 ft-lbs.
Safety glasses must be worn at all times while installing this product. Before you begin installation, read all instructions thoroughly. Using proper tools will greatly improve the quality of the install and reduce the time required.
Never exceed your vehicle manufacturer's recommended towing capacity. While the CURT 13405 is rated for a minimum of 3,500 lbs trailer weight and 525 lbs tongue weight, your vehicle's manufacturer may specify a lower limit. Always follow your vehicle manufacturer's towing recommendations.
Periodically check the receiver hitch to ensure all fasteners are tight and all structural components are sound. This maintenance is important for safe towing.

Hardware may need to be temporarily pushed into the frame to position the hitch over the bumper beam studs. Gently pull the fascia down and raise the hitch into position while guiding the fishwires through the mounting holes. If alignment is still difficult, ensure you are following the fishwire guidance method correctly and that the hitch is being raised evenly on both sides.
During step 4, when raising the hitch into position, ensure the hitch does not damage the kick sensor. Position the hitch carefully while guiding the fishwires through the mounting holes. If you are concerned about sensor damage, contact an authorized CURT installer or call technical support at 877-287-8634.
Yes, the Curt 56364 is designed for the Buick Envision. It is classified for SUVs, mini and full-sized vans and connects to the vehicle's taillight wiring harness located behind the rear tire along the frame rail.
The connector is rated for 7.5 amps per side on signal circuits and 7.5 amps total on tail/running circuits. Do not exceed the product rating or the tow vehicle lamp load rating, whichever is lower, as exceeding the rating can cause loss of warranty, overheating and potential fire.
You will need a flat blade screwdriver and a cutting tool. The installation does not require drilling or welding.
The vehicle taillight wiring harness connector is located behind the rear tire, along the frame rail. It will be similar in appearance to the custom wiring connector provided with the product.
Locate the vehicle taillight wiring harness connector behind the rear tire along the frame rail. Separate it from the weather seal connector, taking care not to damage the locking tabs. Insert the custom wiring connector end into the vehicle connector, ensuring the connectors are fully inserted with locking tabs in place.
Route the 4-flat connector to the center of the vehicle and out of the trunk when in use. When not in use, roll it up and store it in a convenient, out-of-the-way location inside the trunk. Secure any loose wires with the provided cable ties.
Open the vehicle trunk and locate the storage compartment on the driver side of the cargo area. Open the fuse panel and insert the two provided relays in the location shown in the installation diagram (Figure D).
All installation steps must be followed to ensure the connector functions properly. Test for proper function by using a test light or by connecting a properly wired trailer. For the initial test, reset the vehicle's electrical system by temporarily removing the vehicle key from the ignition.
Do not exceed the product rating or the tow vehicle lamp load rating, whichever is lower. The connector is rated for 7.5 amps per side on signal circuits and 7.5 amps total on tail/running circuits. Exceeding the product rating can cause loss of warranty, overheating and potential fire.
The product includes a custom wiring connector, two relays, and cable ties for securing loose wires.
