Each custom-fit class 3 hitch package is made for vehicle-specific mounting. This particular kit fits certain years of the Chrysler Pacifica (see application info to verify vehicle compatibility). It provides a weight carrying capacity of 3,500 lbs. GTW and 350 lbs. TW. It is also compatible with a weight distribution hitch for level towing and a rating of 5,000 lbs. WD and 500 lbs. WDTW. CURT class 3 trailer hitches are typically used to attach and haul utility trailers, boat trailers, campers, snowmobile or ATV haulers and more (NOTE: Never exceed the lowest-rated towing component). Each class 3 hitch has a 2" receiver tube and is tested in accordance with SAE J684 for safety. To ensure that CURT class 3 receiver hitches have what it takes for serious trailering, they are designed using a hands-on approach and are constructed with rugged, high-strength steel and precise welding. We also protect our class 3 hitches in a co-cured finish of liquid A-coat and black powder coat for superior resistance to rust, chipping and UV damage.

Once installed and these components are raised back into position, there should be no interference, but you should periodically check that all fasteners remain tight and structural components are sound.
Fishwire is a method of threading fasteners through frame rail access slots and holes when direct access is not possible. For the 13529, you thread 1/2" carriage bolts and CM-SP40 spacers through the access slot and out the square mounting hole in the bottom of the frame rails (Step 5), and through the rectangular access hole and out the mounting holes in the side of the frame rails (Step 10). The bolts are then secured with hex flange nuts from the outside.
1. Lower spare tire. 2. Lower exhaust by removing rubber isolators. 3. Remove M12 bolts from front attachment points on both frame rails. 4. Remove wiring harness if present on driver side. 5. Fishwire 1/2" carriage bolts and spacers through bottom access slot. 6. Install flat washers on carriage bolts. 7. Raise hitch into position. 8. Secure with hex flange nuts. 9. Install supplied M12 bolts and conical washers at front attachment points. 10. Fishwire carriage bolts and spacers through side access hole. 11. Secure with hex flange nuts. 12. Torque all hardware. 13. Raise exhaust. 14. Relocate wiring harness. 15. Raise spare tire.
Yes, you must remove the M12 bolts from the front attachment point between the bumper beam and frame rail on both the driver and passenger sides. These bolts should be returned to the vehicle owner. New M12 bolts and conical toothed washers are then installed in the same location.
If a wiring harness is present on the driver side frame rail, it must be removed before hitch installation and relocated after installation is complete. The manual includes a wiring harness relocation diagram showing the original location and new location, with one tab in a hole and the second tab in a slot.
All 1/2" hardware (carriage bolts and hex flange nuts) must be torqued to 110 lb-ft.
M12 10.9 class hardware must be torqued to 86 lb-ft.
