This class 1 trailer hitch and ball mount combination is designed for a custom fit on select years of the Infiniti EX35, EX37 and QX50 (see application info to verify fitment). The hitch integrates with the vehicle's frame and provides a useful and dependable 1-1/4" x 1-1/4" receiver. The receiver is perfect for attaching the included ball mount and towing a small trailer, or for adding cargo space with a hitch-mounted cargo carrier, bike rack or other accessory. This particular class 1 hitch is rated for 1,500 pounds gross trailer weight and 150 pounds tongue weight (never exceed the lowest-rated towing component). The ball mount included with this trailer hitch quickly and easily installs into the hitch receiver and has a 3/4" trailer ball hole (trailer ball not included). It can be mounted in the rise or drop position to promote level towing. Like all CURT custom hitches, this class 1 hitch is protected with our co-cured finishing process. It is descaled for a smooth surface, immersed in liquid A-coat for rust resistance inside and out, covered with a durable black powder coat and finally co-cured for an industry-leading rust, chip and UV-resistant shield. No matter where you're headed or which season of the year you’re towing in, this CURT hitch is equipped for long-lasting resilience to the elements. It features an open-back receiver for easy cleaning, and it comes with all the hardware necessary for the installation.

Yes. You must remove exhaust hanger bolts and lower the exhaust system to access the hitch mounting points. The exhaust is then repositioned and reattached to the hitch using supplied bolts and the inverted rubber isolators from the muffler.
Remove (3) exhaust hanger bolts per side on rear hangers, remove the long bolt from the driver side hanger on the other side of the muffler, and remove (1) nut from each of the exhaust hangers just forward from the rear axle. The exhaust should then rest on the cross brace under the exhaust.
The tow loop is removed and returned to the customer. Both sides are removed.
The rubber isolators are attached to the muffler and must be inverted (flipped) before installation. After raising the hitch and muffler together, you invert both rubber isolators and install them over the studs on the hitch. This allows the exhaust hanger pegs on the muffler to sit above the exhaust hanger studs on the hitch.
If the hitch and muffler are not raised together, the muffler will not be able to be reinstalled with the hitch in place. The positioning of the exhaust hanger pegs relative to the hitch studs depends on both components being raised as a unit.
All 8mm fasteners must be torqued to 23 lb-ft.
All 10mm fasteners must be torqued to 45 lb-ft.
The kit includes: (6) 3/8-inch conical toothed washers, (2) 7/16-inch conical toothed washers, (2) M10 – 1.25 x 30 hex bolts, and (6) M8 – 1.25 x 30 hex head tap bolts.
