Designed for the ARIES TrailChaser Jeep bumper, these anti-rattle D-rings offer reliable strength for the serious off-road-style Jeep Wrangler JK. Their key feature is a rubber grommet built into each D-ring mounting bracket. This grommet is compressed when the D-ring is mounted into place, tightening and even restricting movement to eliminate vibrations. The integrated grommet also provides an additional convenience by allowing the D-ring to be held in the horizontal position, if needed, for better accessibility during use. ARIES anti-rattle D-rings include thick, strong backing plates and come with all necessary hardware for installation. Featuring a work load limit of 9,000 lbs., they can be used on the ARIES TrailChaser bumper or other front-end accessories (limited to the capacity of the mounting structure). Each D-ring is constructed from strong, forged steel and has a highly durable carbide black powder coat finish for long-lasting rust resistance on the trail. Each kit includes two D-rings.

The kit includes 2 D-rings, 4 button head bolts (M12 - 1.75mm x 25mm), 2 neoprene rubber rods, and 2 back plates. All fasteners and mounting components needed for installation are included.
The kit is designed for modular bumpers with two slots on the driver-side and passenger-side front face and a large slot below those slots. Verify your bumper has these mounting features before purchasing. The manual does not specify vehicle make, model, or year compatibility.
You need an Allen wrench, M8 size. This is the only tool required for installation.
1. Locate the two slots on the driver-side front face of the bumper. Insert one back plate through the large slot below the two slots. 2. Flip the D-ring over and insert one rubber rod into the hole on the back of the D-ring. 3. Align the back plate with the slots and place the D-ring over the mounting slots. Secure using two M12 button head bolts, snugging them but not fully tightening. 4. Repeat steps 1–3 for the passenger side. 5. Adjust and level both D-rings, then tighten all hardware to the recommended torque specification (28 ft.-lbs. for M12 bolts).
The manual instructs you to snug the hardware but not fully tighten during initial assembly (Step 3). This allows you to adjust and level the D-rings before final tightening (Step 4). Final tightening to the recommended torque specification should only occur after the D-rings are properly positioned and leveled.
