Yes. When locating the mounting points on the vehicle, you must remove any existing hardware at those points before proceeding with bracket installation.
Installation occurs in two steps. First, secure each bracket (driver and passenger side) to the vehicle using two attachment points: (1) side attachment using one 1/2" spacer, one M8 bolt, lock washer and flat washer; (2) top attachment using one 5/8" spacer, one 1/2" spacer, two M6 bolts, lock washers and flat washers. Second, mount the 50" LED light bar using two 1/4" carriage bolts, flat washers and nylock nuts per side at each mounting location on the brackets.
M6 bolts must be torqued to 3 ft-lbs.
M8 bolts must be torqued to 7 ft-lbs.
1/4" bolts must be torqued to 3 ft-lbs.
Periodic inspections should be performed to ensure all mounting hardware remains tight. To protect the product, wax after installing. Regular waxing is recommended to add a protective layer over the finish. Do not use any type of polish or wax that may contain abrasives that could damage the finish. For polished, gloss and other smooth finishes, polish may be used to clear small scratches and scuffs. Mild automotive detergent may be used to clean the product.
