Z-braces are support components that slide behind the rail and latch between the rail and truck cap. Install one Z-brace on each side of the truck. Looking from the top, place each Z-brace directly behind the lever. The truck and cap are not shown in the diagram to demonstrate the Z-brace location clearly.
Yes. Before installing the D-shaped bulkhead seal to the top of the truck bulkhead, trim the end to match the truck's bed cap. The angled cut in the seal will help the tonneau rail seal to the bed cap. Trim the other end as well to fit the cap's edge.
