Yes. Trucks with cargo rails require different clamp positioning. The strap clamp (J) is inserted above the cargo rail at the rear and slid as far forward as possible. The second clamp (E) is inserted above the cargo rail at the rear and slid to near the center. The rear clamp (F) is positioned between the cargo rail and the truck bed flange. All clamps are hand-tightened to 10 ft/lbs of torque.
Required tools: 9/16" wrench or socket, 1/2" wrench or socket, and a torque wrench. Recommended tools: blow dryer or heat gun (for smoothing side seals if wrinkled).

Place the first clamp (E) onto the rail approximately 6 to 9 inches back from the front. Make sure the cover rail is clamped square and level. Hand tighten to 10 ft/lbs of torque with a 9/16" wrench or socket.
Position the passenger side cover rail (A) on the truck rail with the slotted bracket pushed all the way toward the front/cab and the bulkhead. If the truck is equipped with a drop-in bedliner, remove the foam pads located at the front of the slotted brackets.
All clamps are hand-tightened to 10 ft/lbs of torque. Use a 9/16" wrench or socket for clamps E and J, and a 1/2" wrench or socket for clamp F. Apply downward pressure to the cover rail when tightening to ensure the rail sits flush and seals are set. Do not overtighten, as this can cause warping of the bed cap.
Place the second clamp (E) near the center of the cover rail. For 8' beds, two clamps will be evenly spaced in the center section of the cover rail. Hand tighten to 10 ft/lbs of torque with a 9/16" wrench or socket.
Place the third clamp (F) near the rear of the rail, approximately 12" from the tailgate. Hand tighten to 10 ft/lbs of torque with a 1/2" wrench or socket. For trucks with cargo rails, the rear clamp should be positioned between the cargo rail and the truck bed flange.
Roll the cover forward toward the cab, fold the front panel back, and insert the two mounting bolts (J) into the slotted bracket on both sides. The bolts will align with the slotted bracket of the cover rail. Fold the panel back down. Leave the knobs loose until after the cover has been aligned.
A gap of approximately 1/8" (3.2 mm) should remain on both sides of the cover between the edge of the cover rail and the rolling cover. This spacing is necessary to ensure that the locking rail secures to the cover. Align the cover side to side at the front and/or back if the side gaps are not even.
Align the front vinyl edge of the cover with the front edge of the cover rails, not the rubber seal. When correctly installed, the vinyl edges of the cover will align squarely with the cover rails in all four corners.
With the cover rolled open, remove the paper backing from the four D-shaped bumpers (L), clean the surfaces, and adhere the bumpers to the cover slats. Position the bumpers so that they prevent the cover from contacting the cab. The straps will secure the cover away from the cab and glass.
When the cover is properly aligned, roll the cover open, ensuring not to misalign while opening, then tighten the knobs on both sides to secure the cover. Do not overtighten—hand tighten only. Recheck that the cover operates correctly.
If the side seals appear wrinkled, exposure to the sun will assist the seals to lay flat. Alternatively, applying heat with a hair dryer or carefully with a heat gun will smooth the seals.
Check to see that the latches on both sides at the tailgate fully engage the cover rails. The slam latch must hit the locking levers squarely and on both sides. If the latches do not fully engage, loosening the knobs and making a side-to-side adjustment as described in step 11 could help with latch striker engagement.
When driving with the cover in the open position, roll the cover forward, twist and insert the strap clamp clips into the cover clasps. Ensure that both strap clamps are fully inserted into the clasps, then pull on the end of the strap to tighten. Both strap clamps must be fully engaged.
The cover must be either completely flat and secure with both rear latches engaged and in the closed position, or completely rolled up and secured at the cab with the provided straps. Do not drive with the cover in the partially open position. Do not tow your vehicle from the rear with the cover on your truck.

Check all clamps and retention mechanisms for tightness after a week of driving following installation (or re-installation) of the cover and periodically thereafter. Covers used with high frequency or subject to vibrations and impact from rough roadways may require adjustment.
Use standard automotive soap and water with a soft sponge or cloth. Shammy dry to keep the finish polished and brilliant. Do not use wax, as it tends to fill in cracks and crevices, which may affect the textured panel finish. Do not use any harsh cleaners or abrasives.
Periodically inspect and service the latches on each panel. Clean away any excess dirt or grime and lubricate with silicone spray. Ensure the latches move freely in and out to properly engage the side rail and provide proper performance with optimum security. Be careful not to overspray the cover.
