No. This is a supplemental installation sheet for Toyota Tundra trucks equipped with a factory track system. The Revolver rail is designed to work with and mount into the original factory track system mounting holes. If your truck does not have a factory track system, this product is not compatible.
The Revolver X2 rail fits Toyota Tundra trucks with either a 5'6" bed or 6'6" bed. The number of S clamps supplied differs by bed length: 5 clamps for a 5'6" bed and 6 clamps for a 6'6" bed.
Yes, the Revolver X2 rail can be installed on a Tundra with a drop-in bed liner. However, you must use a 1/4" bulkhead seal instead of the standard 3/4" seal, and you must remove the foam pad located on the end of the slotted bracket before installation.
The kit includes: S clamps (5 for a 5'6" bed or 6 for a 6'6" bed), supplied Torx screws for mounting the rail to the factory holes, a bulkhead seal (3/4" for trucks without a drop-in bed liner, or 1/4" for trucks with one), a slotted bracket with a foam pad, a buckle strap bracket, and an end cap. The factory track system hardware is reused during remounting.
Yes. The first step is to remove the factory installed accessory track system and set it aside. You will remount it later using the original hardware into the threaded holes at the bottom of the S clamps.
Position the rail with the silver slotted bracket all the way forward, towards the cab at the front of the vehicle. Align the rail with the front/cab bulkhead. The S clamps must be aligned to match the spacing of the original factory track system mounting holes before tightening the Torx screws.
1. Remove and set aside the factory track system. 2. Install the bulkhead seal to the top of the bulkhead at the edge of the bed opening (use 3/4" seal without a drop-in liner, or 1/4" seal with one). 3. Slide the S clamps into the corresponding slots in the Revolver rail. 4. Align the S clamps to match the original factory track mounting hole spacing. 5. Mount the rail into the original factory holes using supplied Torx screws through the middle slot of the S clamps, with the silver slotted bracket positioned forward toward the cab. 6. Remount the factory track system using original hardware into the threaded holes at the bottom of the S clamps. 7. Remove the end cap from the factory track system, slide the buckle strap bracket into the rail, and replace the end cap. 8. Mount the strap clamp as far forward on the rail as possible and tighten on both sides.
Only if your truck is equipped with a drop-in bed liner. If you have a drop-in bed liner, remove the foam pad located on the end of the slotted bracket before installation. If your truck does not have a drop-in bed liner, leave the foam pad in place.
Remount the factory track system using the original hardware into the threaded holes at the bottom of the S clamps. The factory hardware is reused; no new fasteners are required for this step.
Remove the end cap from the factory accessory track system. Slide the buckle strap bracket into the rail. Replace the end cap. Then mount the strap clamp as far forward on the rail as possible and tighten. Repeat on the opposite side.
The Revolver X2 (part 318A0049) fits Toyota Tundra trucks with a factory track system and either a 5'6" or 6'6" bed. If your truck does not have a factory track system, this product is not compatible.
