Complete kit bundle containing all necessary components for your project. Professional-grade components designed for reliable performance and long-lasting durability.
The CURT QuickPin trailer coupler is a revolutionary coupler design, doing away with the traditional latch mechanism for simple, stress-free trailer hookup. Most couplers use a complicated hinging latch that's prone to wear out and become corroded, leading to difficulties and frustration. Instead of a latch, QuickPin uses a simple hitch pin to create a safe, reliable, hassle-free towing connection. It's as easy as dropping the trailer tongue onto the hitch ball, inserting the QuickPin hitch pin, and that's it! No more wrestling with a rusty latch, and no adjustment or tightening needed. This trailer hitch coupler is fully tested according to SAE J684 specifications. It is rated for 3,500 pounds and fits any standard 2-inch diameter trailer ball. The coupler channel can be mounted on a 3-inch wide trailer tongue beam, featuring standard mounting holes to fit most existing bolt patterns (mounting hardware not included). It is also finished in a durable black powder coating for lasting rust resistance. NOTE: This coupler comes with a 1/2-inch pin that must be used when connecting the trailer. It may not be replaced with a different 1/2-inch pin.

The CURT 25472 is designed for trailers with a 3-inch channel tongue. CURT also offers the 25470 for 2-inch channel and the 25471 for 2.5-inch channel. Ensure you select the correct part number for your trailer's tongue size.

Remove the pin and clip from the pin guide hole. Lower the coupler over the trailer ball until the ball is fully seated in the ball pocket. Insert the provided pin through the pin guide hole and fasten the clip through the end of the pin. Only use the pin and clip provided with the coupler.
Block the trailer's wheels. Remove the pin and clip from the pin guide hole and raise the trailer off the trailer ball. Place the pin and clip back into the pin guide hole.
Do not tow. If the pin does not pass through the coupler completely when the ball is fully seated, there is a problem with the coupling. Do not attempt to tow until the issue is resolved.
No. You must only use the pin and clip provided with the coupler. Using an alternate pin and clip could result in property damage, serious bodily injury, and/or death.
Periodic inspection of your coupler should be performed to ensure all hardware and components remain secure. The manual does not specify an exact interval, but regular checks before towing are recommended.
No. CURT rates the installation difficulty as Easy. Installation difficulty levels are based on time and effort involved and may vary depending on the installer's level of expertise, condition of the vehicle, and proper tools and equipment.
