This replacement hardware kit for trunnion bar weight distribution hitches includes the necessary hardware for adjusting the weight distribution head on its shank. Adjusting the WD head allows you to find the exact trailer ball and spring bar angle to perfectly level your tow vehicle and trailer. This kit includes two adjustment pins and two washers for precise adjustment and comes with a zinc finish to withstand rust and corrosion.

The Curt 17312 is a weight distribution head angle adjustment kit that allows you to adjust the angle of your weight distribution hitch head. It comes with adjustment rods and optional flat washers to achieve different drop distances, which is the measurement from the top of the shank to the bottom of the spring bar.
Yes, the kit includes both short and long adjustment rods. Each rod offers three configuration options: rod alone, rod with 1 flat washer, or rod with 2 flat washers, allowing you to select the drop distance that best suits your towing setup.
The kit offers six drop distance options: Short Rod Only (8.8 inches), Short Rod + 1 Flat Washer (10 inches), Short Rod + 2 Flat Washers (11.3 inches), Long Rod Only (12.6 inches), Long Rod + 1 Flat Washer (13.9 inches), and Long Rod + 2 Flat Washers (15.2 inches).
Never exceed your vehicle manufacturer's recommended towing capacity. The adjustment kit allows you to change the hitch head angle, but you must always stay within the weight limits specified by your vehicle's manufacturer.
