The CURT 23176 includes: one locking slide, one adjustment side, one dust cover, four M8 × 1.25 nylock nuts, and four M8 × 1.25 × 20mm carriage bolts (Class 8.8). A 13mm wrench is also included.

Unlock the mechanism and install the two halves around the wheel. Slide the two halves together around the tire until snug, then push in the lock mechanism to secure.
Loosen the bolts and extend the arm. Both bolts must engage the arm for optimal security. Once adjusted, torque all bolts to 18 in-lb.
