The kit includes one jack wheel, one sleeve spacer, one M12 hex bolt, and one M12 nylock nut. These components are used to replace an existing jack wheel assembly.
You will need a ratchet, socket set, and wrench. These basic hand tools are sufficient for the installation, which is rated as easy difficulty.
1. Remove the previously installed jack wheel. 2. Insert the sleeve spacer into the replacement jack wheel. 3. Align the jack wheel and spacer sleeve mounting holes inside the jack wheel mount. 4. Insert the M12 hex bolt through the jack wheel mount, jack wheel, and spacer sleeve. 5. Secure using the M12 nylock nut and torque to 55 ft-lbs.
The M12 hex bolt securing the jack wheel assembly must be torqued to 55 ft-lbs. Use a torque wrench to ensure proper tightness and prevent damage to the product or vehicle.
Do not expose hands, body parts or clothing anywhere between the truck and trailer. Extreme care should be observed to avoid serious injury to self, property and observers. Keep clear of the jack wheel area during operation.
Wax the product after installing to protect it. Regular waxing is recommended to add a protective layer over the finish. Clean with mild automotive detergent only. Do not use dish detergent, abrasive cleaners, abrasive pads, wire brushes or other similar products that may damage the finish. Do not use polish or wax containing abrasives.
