Everchill by Furrion builds RV refrigeration: 12-volt compressor refrigerators, mini fridges, wine fridges and iceless 12V coolers. Compared with traditional absorption units, the 12V models cool faster, run more reliably off-level, offer greater interior capacity and suit off-grid use, with anti-vibration construction and travel locks for life on the road.
Everchill is the RV refrigeration line from Furrion, a Lippert brand, and it exists because the traditional RV fridge was overdue for replacement. Absorption refrigerators, which run on propane and rely on gravity-fed chemistry, need to be close to level to work, cool slowly, and can be temperamental in hot weather. Everchill's answer is compressor-based 12-volt refrigeration, the same principle as a household fridge, adapted for a vehicle's electrical system and its constant motion.
The advantages are concrete. A 12-volt RV refrigerator cools faster, typically reaching temperature within one to two hours, works reliably whether or not the rig is perfectly level, and gives more usable interior space because it does not need the same cooling apparatus behind it. The 11 cubic foot model offers 10.7 cubic feet of interior capacity, enough for trips running from several days to more than a week. Every unit ships with a travel lock so the door stays shut in transit, and a knob inside the freezer adjusts airflow into the fresh food compartment.
The range extends beyond the main unit. Mini fridges suit smaller trailers, vans and secondary spaces, and wine fridges add a glass door with a horizontal racking system and precise temperature control. Iceless 12-volt coolers carry the same compressor technology into a portable format with a fully insulated anti-vibration build, running from an RV socket or a standard outlet.
Off-grid capability is the point for many buyers. Running a 12V fridge on battery and solar is realistic, and Everchill recommends around 160 watts of solar and two Group 27 deep-cycle batteries for continuous refrigerator operation, before accounting for anything else.
