Fill-Rite is known worldwide as the red pump, manufacturing fuel and chemical transfer pumps, meters and accessories since 1961. The line covers 12V, 24V and AC electric transfer pumps, DEF and oil pumps, hand-operated piston and rotary pumps, mechanical and digital flow meters, plus nozzles, hoses and replacement parts for fuelling equipment away from a filling station.
Fill-Rite has been building fuel transfer equipment since 1961, when the Ossian Engineering Company was acquired and the brand was introduced. Six decades later the red pump is recognisable on farms, job sites and in fleet yards worldwide, and the products are designed and manufactured in Fort Wayne, Indiana. The engineering focus has stayed narrow and deep: moving fuel, oil and chemicals accurately and safely in places with no fuelling infrastructure.
Electric transfer pumps form the core of the range. The FR1200 series is a 12V DC heavy-duty pump moving 15 gallons per minute, suited to permanent installation on a service truck or tank. The FR8 series is a compact and lightweight 12V DC pump flowing 8 gallons per minute, aimed at fuelling small equipment, generators and recreational vehicles where a full-size unit would be overkill. AC-powered models cover fixed installations with mains supply.
Beyond diesel and gasoline, Fill-Rite produces dedicated DEF transfer pumps, oil transfer pumps and chemical transfer pumps, each specified for compatible fluids so seals and wetted parts are not attacked by what passes through them. Hand-operated piston and rotary pumps handle locations with limited or no battery power or electricity, which still describes a great many remote applications.
Measurement is the other half of the business. Mechanical and digital flow meters, including precision weights and measures certified units and oval gear meters, let operators track what they dispense, and fuel management systems extend that into monitoring and control for organisations running their own fuel supply. Nozzles, hoses, swivels, filters and replacement parts complete the range.
The equipment pairs naturally with transfer tanks mounted in a truck bed, whether rectangular, L-shaped to sit over a wheel well, or combination tank and toolbox units that carry fuel and tools in one footprint.
