The Girard tankless RV water heater replaces the traditional six-gallon tank with an on-demand system that heats water only when a tap opens. That removes the familiar problem of running out mid-shower and waiting twenty minutes for recovery. The unit delivers 42,000 BTUs, operates quietly on 12V power, and an onboard microprocessor holds the outlet temperature steady rather than alternating between cold spots and scalding. The digital display allows a set point between 95 and 124 degrees Fahrenheit and shows diagnostics for troubleshooting. It consumes about half the LP gas of a conventional six-gallon tank heater, which extends the range of a propane bottle noticeably on a long trip, and it is light and compact enough to fit an existing tank water heater cut-out with no bypass plumbing required. Replacement parts are available separately.
