The line covers magnetic and wired tow light kits, trailer and clearance lights, work and light bars, agricultural lighting and custom assemblies, serving trucking, towing, agricultural, recreational vehicle and safety markets across three continents.
Custer Products has been manufacturing and distributing LED lighting since 1993, when Brad Custer founded the company. Its tagline, Tough Lights for Tough Jobs, describes the market it serves: trucking, towing, agriculture, recreational vehicles and safety, where lighting is exposed to weather, vibration, chemicals and impact every working day. Distribution now spans North America, South America and Europe.
Tow lights are the product most closely associated with the brand. When a vehicle is being towed or a trailer's own lighting has failed, a magnetic tow light kit puts working stop, turn and tail lights on the back of the load in under a minute, without wiring into anything. For recovery operators this is standard equipment, and for anyone moving an unregistered or damaged vehicle it is the difference between a legal move and a roadside stop.
The wider catalog covers trailer lights across the standard functions, clearance and marker lights for the outline requirements that apply to longer and wider vehicles, work lamps and light bars for job sites and off-road use, and agricultural lighting for implements and machinery operating on public roads.
