The Ranch Hand Legend bullnose front bumper is tough and dependable for a solid upgrade to the front end of your truck. It is designed for the truck owner who wants the strength of a front-end replacement without the grille guard. The bullnose Legend features 4" schedule-40 pipe and a 2" receiver hitch, and has off-road rally styling with 12-gauge contoured skirts. The Legend bullnose bumper is constructed and welded together as one piece with no expanded metal, so you can enjoy a peaceful ride without the rattling that comes from standard front bumpers that contain multiple pieces. To contribute to its already-unique build, it is constructed with diamond plate steel and finished with a tough black powder coating that defends against corrosion and offers extraordinary strength for long-lasting protection and durability. Ranch Hand builds heavy steel grille guards, replacement front and rear bumpers, and truck protection accessories in Shiner, Texas. Every guard and bumper is designed for a specific vehicle make and model, welded from plate steel by hand, and engineered to shield the front end, radiator and driveline from livestock, wildlife and road debris.
Ranch Hand fitted its first grille guard in 1986, working out of a small shop in south Texas. It was one of the earliest manufacturers in what became the truck accessory industry, and the product came from a real need: ranch trucks in that part of the country hit livestock and deer, and a factory bumper offered very little between a collision and a wrecked radiator. What started on a single rancher's truck now sits on tens of thousands of trucks across the country.
The grille guard remains the signature product. Heavy tubing and plate steel wrap the front end, protecting the grille, headlights, radiator and the cooling stack behind it. Full replacement front bumpers take the idea further, removing the factory bumper entirely in favour of a welded steel assembly that carries its own lighting provisions and integrates with the vehicle's sensors where fitted. Rear bumpers add the same protection behind, typically with a receiver tube and provision for a gooseneck ball.
Fitment is the point of difference. Every guard and bumper is designed to match a specific vehicle make and model, and the designs are updated and adapted as manufacturers release new model years, so the mounting brackets tie into factory frame points and the body lines follow the truck rather than approximate it. Step bars and running boards complete the exterior package.
