Liners are moulded to exact bed dimensions for a specific make, model and bed length rather than trimmed to fit, using high-density polyethylene and reinforced composites that resist cracking under load.
Rugged Liner was founded on the premise that truck bed protection should be as tough as the trucks it goes into. The company began manufacturing bed liners and tonneau covers in the United States after seeing too many products fail under genuine working conditions, and it still controls every step of production rather than outsourcing. Its customers are people who use a pickup rather than commute in one: contractors hauling equipment, landscapers, farmers, and owners loading gear for the weekend.
The core product is the truck bed liner, offered in under-rail and over-rail configurations. Each one is moulded to the exact dimensions of a specific make, model and bed length, so it drops in without universal approximations, gaps at the bulkhead or trimming at the wheel arches.
