Rugged Liner was founded on the premise that truck bed protection should be as tough as the trucks it goes into. The company began manufacturing bed liners and tonneau covers in the United States after seeing too many products fail under genuine working conditions, and it still controls every step of production rather than outsourcing. Its customers are people who use a pickup rather than commute in one: contractors hauling equipment, landscapers, farmers, and owners loading gear for the weekend.
The core product is the truck bed liner, offered in under-rail and over-rail configurations. Each one is moulded to the exact dimensions of a specific make, model and bed length, so it drops in without universal approximations, gaps at the bulkhead or trimming at the wheel arches. The material is high-density polyethylene with reinforced composite construction, chosen because it absorbs impact instead of transmitting it, which is what keeps a liner from cracking when a pallet of block lands in the bed or when temperatures swing from summer heat to a hard winter freeze.

Yes. If your truck has mud flaps, you must remove them before installing the wheel well liners. Follow installation steps 3-8, then re-install the mud flaps after installation is complete.
All areas where the wheel wells mount must be clean and free of debris prior to installation. This preparation is important for proper fitment.
Start on the left hand side by setting the driver side wheel well (A), marked as (LH), inside the inner panel of the truck's wheel well behind the tire.
Tuck the upper part of the wheel well liner behind the metal lip of the truck's fender. Locate the three holes in the upper part of the liner and align them with the three pre-drilled holes in the top edge of the truck's fender (marked 1, 2, 3). Use 3 of the plastic push pins (D) provided to secure these holes.
The wheel well liner is secured with 4 self-tapping screws (C) in two stages. First, tuck the cab part of the lower liner behind the fender metal lip and install 2 screws in positions 1 and 2 using a drill with 5/16" socket, driving them through existing holes in the liner into the sheet metal. Then tuck the tail part behind the fender metal lip and install 2 screws in positions 3 and 4 using the same method.
No. The wheel well liner has existing holes that align with pre-drilled holes in the truck's fender for the push pins. The self-tapping screws are driven through existing holes in the liner into the sheet metal; you do not drill new holes.
Yes. Repeat steps 3-7 on the passenger side when installing the passenger side wheel well (B) using the same procedure as the driver side.
