Start on the driver side. Install the driver side wheel well (A) first by following steps 3–10. After completing the driver side, repeat steps 3–10 on the passenger side to install the passenger side wheel well (B).
For sectional OEM liners: loosen factory fasteners 1–8 in step 3 (do not remove them), then tighten them again in step 10. For full OEM liners: remove factory fasteners 1–11 in step 4 and save them, then in step 10 only replace fasteners 1–4 and 8–11 (fasteners 5–7 are not reinstalled). In both versions, the fastener saved from step 4 (the front molding bracket fastener) is reinstalled in hole 1 of the liner.
Set the wheel well liner (marked DS for driver side or PS for passenger side) inside the inner panel of the truck's wheel well behind the tire. Then tuck the lower cab and tail part behind the metal lip of the truck's fender and also behind the factory rock guard. Finally, tuck the upper part behind the rest of the metal lip of the truck's fender.
The liner is secured using two fasteners: (1) Install the factory fastener saved in step 4 into the front pre-drilled hole (hole 1) of the plastic liner. (2) Install one of the two push lock pins (C) provided in the kit into the rear pre-drilled hole (hole 2). Ensure all holes are aligned before fastening.
In the sectional OEM liner version, step 3 instructs you to loosen factory fasteners 1–8 with a 5/16" socket and driver, but do not remove them. This means backing them out slightly so they are no longer tight, but leaving them in place. You will tighten them again in step 10 after the liner is positioned.
