WeatherTech designs and manufactures custom-fit vehicle protection products, most recognisably the laser-measured FloorLiner. The range extends to all-weather floor mats, cargo and trunk liners, mud flaps, bed liners, sun shades and interior accessories. More than 95 percent of production happens in the company's own Illinois factories, with parts engineered vehicle by vehicle rather than trimmed to fit.
WeatherTech was founded in 1989 by David MacNeil, working out of his home in Clarendon Hills, Illinois. He was dissatisfied with the automotive floor mats then sold in the United States, which neither contained dirt and water well nor cleaned up easily, so the company began by importing higher-grade mats from England. Convinced a better product could be built domestically, MacNeil moved to U.S. contract manufacturing in the mid-1990s and by 2007 had shifted the entire line into company-owned facilities in the Chicago suburbs.
The brand is best known for the FloorLiner, a floor mat digitally measured to the exact contours of a specific vehicle's footwell, with raised edges that channel water, mud and salt away from the carpet. The same custom-fit approach carries through the rest of the catalog. Cargo and trunk liners protect the load area of SUVs and wagons, bed liners guard pickup beds against cargo damage, and window deflectors, sun shades and seat protection round out interior coverage.
Outside the cabin, WeatherTech produces mud flaps that mount without drilling on most applications, along with complete mud flap kits that shield rocker panels and paint from stone chips and road spray. The company also makes home and pet products using the same materials and tooling.

The kit includes left-hand (LH) and right-hand (RH) MudFlaps, a hex key, and a T15 Torx bit. The installation uses factory fasteners already on your vehicle, which you will remove and reinstall as part of the process.
You will need a hex key (included), a T15 Torx bit (included), and a ratchet and socket set. The hex key is used to tighten the QuickTurn fastener, the Torx bit removes the factory fasteners, and the ratchet and socket set is used to reinstall the factory bolts.
Thoroughly wash your vehicle and take care to remove all dirt, debris, and stains from each fender in the areas where the MudFlaps will be installed. Park the vehicle on level ground before beginning installation.
The QuickTurn fastener is the locking mechanism on the MudFlap. Before installation, ensure it is in the unlocked position. Once the MudFlap is aligned with the corresponding holes on the fender, use the supplied hex key to rotate the QuickTurn fastener. It will rotate to the lock position and stop, then continue turning to tighten the flap onto the metal fender.
No. This is a no-drill product. Installation uses three factory fasteners that are already on your vehicle. You will remove these fasteners, install the MudFlap, and then reinstall the fasteners through the MudFlap.
Begin with the driver's side MudFlap installation. After completing steps 3 through 7 on the driver's side, repeat the same steps for the passenger side MudFlap marked 'RH'.
1. Locate the three factory fasteners on the fender. 2. Remove them using the T15 Torx bit and set aside. 3. Ensure the QuickTurn fastener on the MudFlap is in the unlocked position. 4. Place the MudFlap against the wheel well and align with the corresponding holes. 5. While pressing the MudFlap against the fender contour, rotate the QuickTurn fastener with the hex key until it locks and stops, then continue turning to tighten. 6. Reinstall and tighten the three factory bolts through the MudFlap. 7. Repeat for the passenger side.
