Return the tow hooks to the customer. The installation instructions note '(Return to customer.)' after removal from the driver and passenger side frame rails.
Raise the hitch into position and secure it with the four hex bolts and conical washers through the existing weld nuts on the driver and passenger side frame rails. Do not fully tighten at this stage.
1. Remove tow hooks from frame rails if equipped (return to customer). 2. Remove plastic push fasteners from rear bumper fascia straps (reuse later). Lower rear exhaust hanger for ease of installation. 3. Raise hitch into position and secure with hex bolts and conical washers through existing weld nuts. 4. Reinstall rear bumper fascia straps. 5. Torque all 10 mm fasteners to 48 lb-ft and reinstall the exhaust hanger.
