Open the rear hatch and locate the two T-25 Torx head screws holding each taillight in place. Remove both screws, then carefully pull out on the taillight housing, being sure not to damage the alignment tabs.
Starting on the driver's side, separate the vehicle's taillight wiring connectors without damaging the locking tabs. Insert the T-connector end with the yellow wire between the separated connectors. Ensure the connectors are fully inserted with locking tabs in place. Repeat this process on the passenger side using the green wire connector.

Route the green wire across the backside of the bumper and up through the opening under the passenger side taillight.
