Yes, part number 55310 is designed for both Hyundai Santa Fe and Hyundai Elantra. However, the installation procedure differs slightly between the two models. Santa Fe owners remove the rear cargo shade, threshold plate, storage covers and floor covering, then partially remove rear interior trim panels. Elantra owners remove rear storage compartments via four Phillips head screws on each side, the foam spare tire cover, and the rear threshold before removing felt trim panels.
For a Santa Fe, open the rear hatch and temporarily remove: the rear cargo shade, threshold plate, storage covers, and floor covering. Then partially remove the rear interior trim panels on both driver and passenger sides by removing the tie-down loop and several trim panel fasteners. Pull back the trim panels to reveal the vehicle's tow harness.
For an Elantra, open the rear hatch and remove the rear storage compartments by removing four Phillips head screws on each side. Also remove the foam spare tire cover. Remove the rear threshold by removing the trim fasteners on each side, then remove the trim fasteners holding the felt trim panels in place. Pull back the trim panels to reveal the vehicle's tow harness.
Disconnect the vehicle's wiring harness connectors on the driver's side, being careful not to break the locking tabs. Plug the T-connector with the yellow wire in between the two separate halves of the vehicle's harness. This allows the factory harness to pass through the T-connector while adding the new wiring.
The T-connector has a yellow wire that connects to the driver's side harness and a green wire that connects to the passenger's side harness. The yellow wire stays at the driver's side connection point, while the green wire end of the T-connector is routed to the passenger's side behind the panels and along the threshold for the passenger-side ground connection.
Drilling may be required. The manual instructs you to locate a suitable grounding point near the connector, such as an existing ground stud. If no existing ground stud is available, you will need to drill a 3/32" hole to secure the white wire with an eyelet using the screw provided. Do not drill into any exposed surfaces. Before drilling, verify that miscellaneous items hidden behind or under surfaces are not in the way to avoid damage to the vehicle and personal injury.
If a suitable existing ground stud is not available, drill a 3/32" hole to secure the white wire with an eyelet using the screw provided.

Route the T-connector end with the green wire to the passenger's side behind the panels and along the threshold. Mount the black box converter out of the way using the double-sided tape or cable tie provided, and secure all loose wires with cable ties. Route the 4-flat under the driver's side trim panel into the floor storage compartment and store it there when not in use.

The 55310 includes double-sided tape or cable ties to mount the black box converter, a screw for securing the white wire eyelet to the grounding point, and cable ties to secure all loose wires.

It may be necessary to cut a slit or notch in the storage tray to allow the 4-flat connector to fit in the floor storage compartment where it is stored when not in use. Whether cutting is required depends on the fit of the 4-flat in your specific vehicle's storage compartment.
