Remove the inspection cover on the driver side trunk liner by carefully removing two plastic push fasteners with a flathead screwdriver and one side fastener on the passenger side with a Phillips screwdriver. Pull back the felt liner to access the vehicle taillight wiring harness connectors.
Locate the vehicle taillight wiring harness connectors behind the trunk liner. The connectors will be similar to those on the custom wiring harness. Separate the connectors from the taillight housing, taking care not to damage the locking tabs. Insert the custom wiring harness end with the yellow wire between the separated connectors. Make sure the connectors are fully inserted with locking tabs in place. Repeat this process on the passenger side with the harness end with the green wire.
