The custom wiring harness end with the yellow wire is inserted between the separated driver side taillight connectors inside the trunk. The connectors must be fully inserted with locking tabs in place.
The custom wiring harness end with the green wire is routed to the passenger side behind the removed scuff panels and inserted between the separated passenger side taillight connectors, following the same procedure as the driver side.
The white wire is the ground wire. It must be secured to a suitable grounding point near the connector using the provided ring terminal and screw. You can use an existing screw with nut in the vehicle frame, or drill a 3/32" pilot hole for the provided screw. The area must be free of rust, dirt and paint.
The black converter box should be adhered to a flat spot inside the vehicle near the taillight using the provided double-sided tape.
Drilling may be required. You need to locate a suitable grounding point near the connector, such as an existing screw with nut in the vehicle frame. If no suitable existing screw is available, you must drill a 3/32" pilot hole for the provided ground screw.
