The taillight wiring connectors are located behind the felt trunk liner on both the driver and passenger sides. You access them by removing the trunk floor coverings, rear scuff panel, and pulling back the felt liner to expose the connectors.
Insert the custom wiring harness end with the yellow wire between the separated factory taillight connectors on the driver side. Make sure the connectors are fully inserted with locking tabs in place. Repeat on the passenger side using the harness end with the green wire.
Drilling may be required for the grounding point. If a suitable existing screw with nut is not available on the vehicle frame near the taillight connector, you must drill a 3/32" pilot hole for the provided grounding screw. Before drilling, check for hidden items behind or under surfaces to avoid damage and personal injury.
