Whatever your task at hand -- whether it's launching that boat before daybreak, setting up your camper before the rush or getting a final load to the dump before close -- CURT class 3 trailer hitches offer the strength needed for serious towing. They make it easy to hitch up and Bring It, offering a vehicle-specific fit and the weight capacity to handle a variety of trailers. Custom class 3 hitches are the most common type of receiver hitch for pickup trucks and SUVs. Because of their weight range, they are also found on full-size cars, crossovers and minivans. Each custom-fit class 3 hitch package is made for vehicle-specific mounting. This particular kit fits certain years of the Ford F150 (see application info to verify vehicle compatibility). It provides a weight carrying capacity of 6,000 lbs. GTW and 600 lbs. TW. It is also compatible with a weight distribution hitch for level towing and a rating of 10,000 lbs. WD and 1,000 lbs. WDTW. CURT class 3 trailer hitches are typically used to attach and haul utility trailers, boat trailers, campers, snowmobile or ATV haulers and more (NOTE: Never exceed the lowest-rated towing component). Each class 3 hitch has a 2" receiver tube and is tested in accordance with SAE J684 for safety. To ensure that CURT class 3 receiver hitches have what it takes for serious trailering, they are designed using a hands-on approach and are constructed with rugged, high-strength steel and precise welding. We also protect our class 3 hitches in a co-cured finish of liquid A-coat and black powder coat for superior resistance to rust, chipping and UV damage.
Trailer hitch weight ratings are limited to vehicle manufacturer's stated capacities
Not compatible for use with vertical hanging bicycles (bike racks that require the bicycles to be hung / mounted vertically)

Yes, Curt part number 13352 is designed for 2004–2005 Ford F-150 models. The hitch will fit vehicles with or without a vibration dampener.
The hitch weight is 50 lbs.
When used as a weight-carrying hitch, the gross load capacity is 6000 lbs. trailer weight and 600 lbs. tongue weight. When used as a weight-distribution hitch, the gross load capacity is 10,000 lbs. trailer weight and 1000 lbs. tongue weight. Do not exceed your vehicle manufacturer's recommended towing capacity.
Yes. The hitch will fit vehicles with or without a vibration dampener, so no removal or modification of the dampener is required.
Yes, drilling is required. You must drill three 1/2" mounting holes in each frame rail using the hitch as a template.
The kit includes: six 1/2"-13 UNC carriage bolts, 1-3/4" long, Grade 8 (part 10-10272); six 0.250 x 1.00 x 3.00" square hole spacers (CM-SP6); six 1/2"-13 UNC serrated flange nuts, Grade 8 (part 20-00062); two 5/8"-11 UNC hex bolts, 1-1/2" long, Grade 8 (part 10-10038); two 5/8" flat washers (part 30-00131); two 5/8"-11 UNC serrated flange nuts, Grade 8 (part 20-00105); and one 1/2" fishwire.
1. Raise the hitch into position and insert the 5/8" hex bolts and washers through the factory chain loop holes and the top plate holes of the hitch; secure with flange nuts. 2. Using the hitch as a template, mark and drill three 1/2" mounting holes in each frame rail. 3. Attach the hitch to the rearmost frame holes by inserting 1/2" carriage bolts and spacers into the open end of the frame and through the hitch mounting holes; secure with flange nuts. 4. Fishwire the remaining 1/2" carriage bolts and spacers through access holes on the side of each frame rail and through the drilled holes; secure with flange nuts. 5. Torque all 1/2" fasteners to 110 lb.-ft. and all 5/8" fasteners to 210 lb.-ft.
All 1/2" fasteners must be torqued to 110 lb.-ft.
All 5/8" fasteners must be torqued to 210 lb.-ft.
The factory chain loop holes are existing holes in the top of the frame where the factory chain loops are located. In the Curt 13352 installation, the 5/8" hex bolts and washers are inserted through these factory chain loop holes and the top plate holes of the hitch, then secured with flange nuts. This is the first step of the installation.
Three 1/2" mounting holes must be drilled in each frame rail (six holes total). The hitch is used as a template to mark the hole locations.
The access holes are existing holes located on the side of each frame rail. In step 4 of the installation, the remaining 1/2" carriage bolts and spacers are fishwired through these access holes and through the newly drilled holes in the frame rail, then secured with flange nuts.
Periodically check the receiver hitch to ensure that all fasteners are tight and that all structural components are sound. The manual does not specify a retorque interval or other maintenance tasks.
Do not exceed your vehicle manufacturer's recommended towing capacity. The hitch itself supports up to 6000 lbs. trailer weight and 600 lbs. tongue weight as a weight-carrying hitch, or 10,000 lbs. trailer weight and 1000 lbs. tongue weight as a weight-distribution hitch, but your Ford F-150's manufacturer specifications take precedence.
