This fits: 2007-2008 INFINITI G35 Sedan
However you define adventure -- whether it's climbing onto the back of a mountain bike, hunting from the top of a tree stand or camping with the family a long way from nowhere -- CURT class 1 hitches provide a light-duty towing receiver to help you Bring It. Each is made to fit a specific vehicle, providing easier installation, a better fit and optimal towing capacity. Custom class 1 trailer hitches are available for a variety of smaller vehicle types, including the compact car, crossover, minivan and small SUV. This particular class 1 hitch is designed to be a custom hitch for certain years of the Infiniti G25, G35 and G37 (to verify vehicle compatibility, see the CURT application guide at curtmfg.com). Tested in accordance with SAE J684, it offers a weight carrying capacity of 2,000 lbs. GTW and 200 lbs. TW. It is equipped with 1-1/4" receiver tube opening to accept a ball mount shank or other hitch mount. This class 1 hitch also comes with all necessary mounting hardware. With its lightweight design and smaller receiver tube size, a class 1 hitch is especially useful for adding cargo space with a hitch-mounted bike rack or cargo carrier. They can also typically be used to tow small trailers such as a utility trailer, kayak trailer or teardrop camper (never exceed the lowest weight capacity of any towing component; i.e. the vehicle, hitch, trailer, etc). Though CURT class 1 trailer hitches are only intended for light-duty towing, we apply the same principles of quality as we do to the rest of our rear mount hitches. Each class 1 hitch is made with hands-on engineering, high-strength steel and precise welding. We use a co-cured finish of liquid A-coat, inside and out, and durable black powder coat to provide a lasting defense against rust, chips and UV rays.
Trailer hitch weight ratings are limited to vehicle manufacturer's stated capacities
Not compatible for use with vertical hanging bicycles (bike racks that require the bicycles to be hung / mounted vertically)
Includes installation hardware

Yes, part number 11499 is designed for INFINITI G25/G35/G37 and G25x/G35x/G37x sedans. Confirm your vehicle is a sedan model, as this hitch is not compatible with other body styles. The hitch is designed for use with ballmount #D-55001 or #45501.
The Curt 11499 is designed for use with ballmount #D-55001 or #45501. Use only these compatible ballmounts; other ballmounts may not fit or function correctly.
The manual states a gross load capacity of 2,000 lbs. trailer weight and 200 lbs. tongue weight when used as a weight-carrying hitch. However, you must not exceed your vehicle manufacturer's recommended towing capacity, which may be lower. Check your vehicle's owner manual for the maximum towing limit.
You will need a rotary tool or equivalent to cut the bumper fascia. The manual also references a pry bar or screwdriver for possible removal of a tack weld on the aluminum spacer. Standard wrenches or sockets for M8 and 1/2" fasteners are required for assembly and torquing.
Yes. Before installation, remove the two lower fascia tabs, the license plate, and the black underbody panel. Save these parts for reuse after installation. You will also need to remove the aluminum bumper fascia spacer by unbolting its four existing M8 bolts.
Yes. You must cut a 1 3/4" wide by 2" deep rectangular opening in the center of the lower bumper fascia using a rotary tool or equivalent. This opening allows the hitch to pass through the fascia. You will also need to cut a 2 3/4" deep cutout in the black underbody panel to accommodate the hitch.
On some vehicles, a tack weld may be present on the aluminum bumper fascia spacer. If present, it may be necessary to fracture this weld to allow removal of the spacer. A pry bar or screwdriver can be used for this purpose. Not all vehicles will have this weld.
The hitch includes: one 1/2-13 UNC carriage bolt, 1 3/4" long (part 10-10272); one 1/2-13 UNC serrated flange nut (part 20-00062); one 0.250 x 1.50 x 3.00" square hole spacer (part CM-SP53); and four 5/16" flat washers (part 30-00195). The four existing M8 bolts on the bumper fascia spacer are reused.
1. Raise the hitch and bumper fascia spacer into position. 2. Attach with the four existing M8 bolts and supplied 5/16" washers, ensuring the hitch sits flat against the bumper beam. 3. Attach the hitch to the tow loop using the supplied 1/2-13 x 1 3/4" carriage bolt, the CM-SP53 spacer, and the 1/2" flange nut. 4. Torque all M8 hardware to 23 ft-lbs. and all 1/2" hardware to 110 ft-lbs.
All M8 hardware on the Curt 11499 must be torqued to 23 ft-lbs.
All 1/2" hardware on the Curt 11499, including the 1/2-13 x 1 3/4" carriage bolt and flange nut, must be torqued to 110 ft-lbs.
Non-trailer loads can be applied to the hitch, but they must be fully supported by auxiliary stabilizing straps. Failure to properly support non-trailer loads will void the product warranty.
Periodically check the receiver hitch to ensure that all fasteners are tight and that all structural components are sound. This ongoing inspection helps maintain safe operation and prevent loosening of fasteners due to vibration and use.
