This class 1 trailer hitch and ball mount combination is designed for a custom fit on select years of the Lexus CT200h (see application info to verify fitment). The hitch integrates with the vehicle's frame and provides a useful and dependable 1-1/4" x 1-1/4" receiver. The receiver is perfect for attaching the included ball mount and towing a small trailer, or for adding cargo space with a hitch-mounted cargo carrier, bike rack or other accessory. This particular class 1 hitch is rated for 2,000 pounds gross trailer weight and 200 pounds tongue weight (never exceed the lowest-rated towing component). The ball mount included with this trailer hitch quickly and easily installs into the hitch receiver and has a 3/4" trailer ball hole (trailer ball not included). It can be mounted in the rise or drop position to promote level towing. Like all CURT custom hitches, this class 1 hitch is protected with our co-cured finishing process. It is descaled for a smooth surface, immersed in liquid A-coat for rust resistance inside and out, covered with a durable black powder coat and finally co-cured for an industry-leading rust, chip and UV-resistant shield. No matter where you're headed or which season of the year you’re towing in, this CURT hitch is equipped for long-lasting resilience to the elements. It features an open-back receiver for easy cleaning, and it comes with all the hardware necessary for the installation.

The CURT 112003 has a maximum trailer weight capacity of 2,000 lbs and a tongue weight capacity of 200 lbs. However, you must never exceed your vehicle manufacturer's recommended towing capacity, which may be lower than the hitch rating.
Required tools are: ratchet, torque wrench, 9" extension, screwdriver, 19mm socket, 17mm socket, and 10mm socket. Safety glasses should be worn at all times during installation. Using proper tools will greatly improve the quality of the install and reduce installation time.
The hitch includes 4 M12-1.25 x 30mm hex bolts and 4 conical toothed washers (1/2" size). These fasteners are used to secure the hitch to the vehicle's frame rail weldnuts. No additional fasteners are required for installation.
No, drilling is not required. The CURT 112003 uses existing weldnuts on both the driver and passenger side frame rails of the Lexus CT 200h. The hitch bolts directly to these factory mounting points.
Yes. You must remove the driver side underbody panel (5 fasteners) and the existing tow loop with its 2 bolts. The underbody panel is reinstalled after the hitch is secured. The tow loop and its bolts should be returned to the vehicle owner.
1. Remove the driver side underbody panel by removing 5 fasteners. 2. Remove the 2 tow loop bolts and tow loop; return these to the owner. 3. Raise the hitch into position, starting with the passenger side, and secure using M12-1.25 x 30mm bolts and 1/2" conical toothed washers. 4. Torque all M12 hardware to 86 ft-lbs. 5. Reinstall the underbody panel.
All M12-1.25 x 30mm hex bolts must be torqued to 86 ft-lbs. Use a calibrated torque wrench to ensure proper fastener tension. This torque specification applies to all 4 bolts that secure the hitch to the frame rail weldnuts.
All non-trailer loads (wheel-less loads) applied to this hitch must be supported by CURT 18050 stabilizing straps. Failure to properly support non-trailer loads will void the product warranty. CURT recommends the use of 18050 stabilizing straps for all non-trailer loads. See the CURT catalog or www.curtmfg.com for further information.
Periodically check the receiver hitch to ensure all fasteners are tight and all structural components are sound. This ongoing inspection helps maintain the integrity and safety of the hitch assembly. Check fasteners before each towing use.
