Connect to your lifestyle with a custom hitch receiver from CURT. All of our custom hitches are designed for a vehicle-specific fit, manufactured with pride, finished for industry-leading rust resistance and tested to rigorous SAE J684 standards for safety. This class 1 trailer hitch and ball mount combination is designed for a custom fit on select years of the Chevrolet Spark (see application info to verify fitment). The hitch integrates with the vehicle's frame and provides a useful and dependable 1-1/4" x 1-1/4" receiver. The receiver is perfect for attaching the included ball mount and towing a small trailer, or for adding cargo space with a hitch-mounted cargo carrier, bike rack or other accessory. This particular class 1 hitch is rated for 2,000 pounds gross trailer weight and 200 pounds tongue weight (never exceed the lowest-rated towing component). The ball mount included with this trailer hitch quickly and easily installs into the hitch receiver and has a 3/4" trailer ball hole (trailer ball not included). It can be mounted in the rise or drop position to promote level towing. Like all CURT custom hitches, this class 1 hitch is protected with our co-cured finishing process. It is descaled for a smooth surface, immersed in liquid A-coat for rust resistance inside and out, covered with a durable black powder coat and finally co-cured for an industry-leading rust, chip and UV-resistant shield. No matter where you're headed or which season of the year you’re towing in, this CURT hitch is equipped for long-lasting resilience to the elements. It features an open-back receiver for easy cleaning, and it comes with all the hardware necessary for the installation.
Trailer hitch weight ratings are limited to vehicle manufacturer's stated capacities
Not compatible for use with vertical hanging bicycles (bike racks that require the bicycles to be hung / mounted vertically)
Includes ball mount #45521, installation hardware, pin & clip

The 2013-2015 Chevrolet Spark without Ground Effects, excluding EV Class 1 Trailer Hitch, 1-1/4" Ball Mount (Part #CHD-113343-001) Refer to the included instructions for installation details. Basic hand tools are typically all you need.
Yes, the CURT 11334 is designed for 2013-present Chevrolet Spark Hatchback models. Confirm your vehicle year and body style match before purchase.
The CURT 11334 is rated for a maximum trailer weight of 2,000 lbs and tongue weight of 200 lbs when used as a weight-carrying hitch. However, you must never exceed your vehicle manufacturer's recommended towing capacity, which may be lower.
The CURT 11334 is designed for use with ball mount #45501 / D-55001. Euro mount options are also available: #45571 (1 7/8" ball) and #45572 (2" ball).
Required tools are: ratchet, torque wrench, 11/16" socket, 3/4" socket, spray lubricant, pry bar, and die grinder. Safety glasses must be worn at all times during installation.
Yes. Step 1 requires you to lower the exhaust by disconnecting exhaust hangers from rubber isolators—one forward and one rearward of the muffler. The exhaust is raised back into position in Step 7 after the hitch is installed.
No drilling is required. However, hole enlargement is required on both frame rails at the end to accommodate the square hole spacers and 7/16" carriage bolts. This is done using a die grinder in Step 2.
Reverse fishwire is a technique used in Step 3 to guide the square hole spacers and 7/16" carriage bolts up through the enlarged hole in the frame rail and back down through the same hole. The fishwire (part number 7_16 FISHWIRE) acts as a guide to thread the hardware through the frame.
Torque the 7/16" hardware (carriage bolts and hex flange nuts) to 70 lb-ft. Torque the 1/2" hardware (carriage bolt and hex flange nut) to 110 lb-ft. These torque values are applied in Step 6 after the hitch is positioned and loosely attached.
In Step 4, the 7/16" hex flange nuts are loosely attached to the carriage bolts to allow the hitch to be positioned. The hitch is then fully secured in Step 6 when all fasteners are torqued to specification (7/16" hardware to 70 lb-ft and 1/2" hardware to 110 lb-ft).
Two people may be required to ease installation. The manual notes this as a helpful recommendation but does not make it mandatory.
All non-trailer loads (wheel-less loads) applied to the hitch must be supported by CURT 18050 stabilizing straps. Failure to properly support non-trailer loads will void the product warranty. CURT recommends the use of 18050 stabilizing straps for all non-trailer loads.
Periodically check the receiver hitch to ensure all fasteners are tight and all structural components are sound. This ongoing inspection is critical to safe operation and is mentioned as a requirement in the warranty and installation notes.
The kit includes: 2× 7/16"-14 × 1 3/4" carriage bolts, 2× .250 × .88 × 2.25" spacers (CM-SP2), 2× 7/16"-14 hex flange nuts, 2× 7/16" fishwire, 1× 1/2"-13 × 1 3/4" carriage bolt, 1× .250 × 1.50 × 2.25" spacer (CM-SP26), and 1× 1/2"-13 hex flange nut (HFN 1213).
Yes. The installation requires lowering the exhaust system and enlarging the holes at the end of each frame rail using a die grinder. These modifications are permanent and necessary for proper hitch installation.
The manual indicates the installation difficulty level as moderate and states that if you are hesitant to undertake this task on your own, you should contact an authorized CURT installer for additional assistance. The installation involves exhaust work and frame rail modification, which may warrant professional help. Call CURT technical support at 800-798-0813 for guidance.
