This fits: 2013-2015 Chevrolet Spark without Ground Effects, excluding EV
However you define adventure -- whether it's climbing onto the back of a mountain bike, hunting from the top of a tree stand or camping with the family a long way from nowhere -- CURT class 1 hitches provide a light-duty towing receiver to help you Bring It. Each is made to fit a specific vehicle, providing easier installation, a better fit and optimal towing capacity. Custom class 1 trailer hitches are available for a variety of smaller vehicle types, including the compact car, crossover, minivan and small SUV. This particular class 1 hitch is designed to be a custom hitch for certain years of the Chevy Spark (to verify vehicle compatibility, see the CURT application guide at curtmfg.com). Tested in accordance with SAE J684, it offers a weight carrying capacity of 2,000 lbs. GTW and 200 lbs. TW. It is equipped with 1-1/4" receiver tube opening to accept a ball mount shank or other hitch mount. This class 1 hitch also comes with all necessary mounting hardware. With its lightweight design and smaller receiver tube size, a class 1 hitch is especially useful for adding cargo space with a hitch-mounted bike rack or cargo carrier. They can also typically be used to tow small trailers such as a utility trailer, kayak trailer or teardrop camper (never exceed the lowest weight capacity of any towing component; i.e. the vehicle, hitch, trailer, etc). Though CURT class 1 trailer hitches are only intended for light-duty towing, we apply the same principles of quality as we do to the rest of our rear mount hitches. Each class 1 hitch is made with hands-on engineering, high-strength steel and precise welding. We use a co-cured finish of liquid A-coat, inside and out, and durable black powder coat to provide a lasting defense against rust, chips and UV rays.
Trailer hitch weight ratings are limited to vehicle manufacturer's stated capacities
Not compatible for use with vertical hanging bicycles (bike racks that require the bicycles to be hung / mounted vertically)
Includes installation hardware

The 2013-2015 Chevrolet Spark without Ground Effects, excluding EV Class 1 Trailer Hitch, 1-1/4" Receiver + 2" Ball + 1-7/8" Ball Kit (Part #CHD-11334-001) Refer to the included instructions for installation details. Basic hand tools are typically all you need.
Yes, CURT part number 11334 is designed for 2013-present Chevrolet Spark Hatchback models. The manual specifies this application and notes that it is designed for use with ball mount #45501 / D-55001, with euro mount options #45571 (1 7/8" ball) and #45572 (2" ball) also available.
The CURT 11334 is rated for a maximum of 2,000 lbs trailer weight and 200 lbs tongue weight. However, you must never exceed your vehicle manufacturer's recommended towing capacity, which may be lower than these ratings. Always verify your vehicle's towing limits before towing.
You will need: a ratchet, torque wrench, 11/16" socket, 3/4" socket, spray lubricant, pry bar, die grinder, and safety glasses. The die grinder is required to enlarge the holes in the frame rails. A torque wrench is essential for properly tightening the fasteners to the correct specifications.
The manual does not specify whether the battery must be disconnected. Contact CURT technical support at 877-287-8634 for clarification on this step.
No drilling is required. However, hole enlargement is required on both frame rails to accommodate the square hole spacers and 7/16" carriage bolts. This enlargement is done using a die grinder in Step 2 of the installation process.
Yes. Step 1 requires you to lower the exhaust by disconnecting the exhaust hangers from rubber isolators—one forward and one rearward of the muffler. After installation is complete, you will raise the exhaust back into position in Step 7.
Two people may be required to ease installation. The manual recommends reading all instructions thoroughly before beginning and notes that using proper tools will greatly improve the quality of the install and reduce the time required.
Torque the 7/16" hardware (carriage bolts and flange nuts) to 70 lb-ft. Torque the 1/2" hardware (carriage bolt and flange nut) to 110 lb-ft. These torque values are applied in Step 6 after the hitch is positioned and all fasteners are loosely attached.
The kit includes: 2 × 7/16"-14 UNC carriage bolts (1-3/4", grade 8, yellow zinc), 2 × 0.250 × 0.88 × 2.25" spacers, 2 × 7/16" serrated flange nuts (grade 8, yellow zinc), 2 × 7/16" fishwire, 1 × 1/2"-13 UNC carriage bolt (1-3/4", grade 8, yellow zinc), 1 × 0.250 × 1.50 × 2.25" spacer, and 1 × 1/2" serrated flange nut (grade 8, yellow zinc).
The fishwire is used in Step 3 to reverse the square hole spacers and 7/16" carriage bolts up through the enlarged hole in the frame rail and back down through the same hole. This allows you to position the hardware before raising the hitch into place.
Follow these steps in order: (1) Lower the exhaust by disconnecting hangers from rubber isolators. (2) Enlarge holes at the end of each frame rail using a die grinder. (3) Use fishwire to reverse the square hole spacers and 7/16" carriage bolts up and back down through the enlarged holes. (4) Raise the hitch into position and loosely attach 7/16" flange nuts. (5) Install the 1/2" carriage bolt with large spacer through the tow hook and support bar, and fasten with the 1/2" flange nut. (6) Torque 7/16" hardware to 70 lb-ft and 1/2" hardware to 110 lb-ft. (7) Raise the exhaust back into position.
Safety glasses must be worn at all times during installation. Read all instructions thoroughly before beginning. If you are hesitant to undertake this task on your own, contact an authorized CURT installer for additional assistance. You can reach CURT technical support at 877-287-8634.
Non-trailer (wheel-less) loads applied to this hitch must be supported by CURT 18050 stabilizing straps. Failure to properly support non-trailer loads will void the product warranty. See the CURT catalog or visit www.curtmfg.com for further information on stabilizing straps.
After installation, periodically check the receiver hitch to ensure that all fasteners are tight and that all structural components are sound. This ongoing maintenance is important for safe operation.
The CURT 11334 is designed for use with ball mount #45501 / D-55001. Euro mount options are also available: #45571 (1 7/8" ball) and #45572 (2" ball).
