The CURT 51524 is a brake control harness that connects your vehicle's factory brake system to a CURT brake control unit. It allows the brake control unit to interface with your vehicle's braking system. The harness must be installed following all steps in this manual, and the brake control unit must then be tested per its own instruction manual.
You will need: a ratchet, a ratchet extension, a 10mm socket, and a panel trim removal tool. These tools are required to remove the lower dash panels and the metal bracket panel that must be accessed during installation.
