They make it easy to hitch up and Bring It, offering a vehicle-specific fit and the weight capacity to handle a variety of trailers. Custom class 3 hitches are the most common type of receiver hitch for pickup trucks and SUVs. Because of their weight range, they are also found on full-size cars, crossovers and minivans. Each custom-fit class 3 hitch package is made for vehicle-specific mounting. This particular kit fits certain years of the Lexus NX250, NX350, NX350h and NX450h+ (see application info to verify vehicle compatibility). It provides a weight carrying capacity of 2,000 lbs. GTW and 200 lbs. TW. CURT class 3 trailer hitches are typically used to attach and haul utility trailers, boat trailers, campers, snowmobile or ATV haulers and more (NOTE: Never exceed the lowest-rated towing component). Each class 3 hitch has a 2" receiver tube and is tested in accordance with SAE J684 for safety. To ensure that CURT class 3 receiver hitches have what it takes for serious trailering, they are designed using a hands-on approach and are constructed with rugged, high-strength steel and precise welding. We also protect our class 3 hitches in a co-cured finish of liquid A-coat and black powder coat for superior resistance to rust, chipping and UV damage.

The kit includes 4 hex bolts (M12) and 4 conical-toothed washers (1/2"). The vehicle must have existing weldnuts on both frame rails for mounting.
Yes, the installation may require lowering of the exhaust. You must remove the two muffler hanger bracket bolts from both sides of the vehicle using a 12mm socket and unhook the exhaust hanger isolator in front of the muffler. Support the exhaust to prevent damage during removal.
Yes. Use a 17mm socket to remove the two bolts securing the recovery loop to the frame. Return the recovery loop and fasteners to the vehicle owner.
1. Remove muffler hanger bracket bolts and exhaust isolator using a 12mm socket; support the exhaust. 2. Remove recovery loop bolts using a 17mm socket. 3. Remove decals/plugs over weldnuts on the inner frame rails, raise the hitch into position, and loosely install the M12 bolts and conical-toothed washers using a 19mm socket. 4. Torque all M12 fasteners to 86 ft-lbs. 5. Reinstall the exhaust hanger brackets and isolator.
All M12 fasteners must be torqued to 86 ft-lbs. Use a torque wrench to ensure proper tightening and prevent damage to the product or vehicle.
No. During Step 3, loosely install the M12 bolts and conical-toothed washers with a 19mm socket. Tighten them to the full torque specification of 86 ft-lbs only in Step 4, after the hitch is positioned between the frame rails.
The conical-toothed washers must be installed with the toothed side facing the hitch side plate. The diagram on page 2 shows the correct orientation with the washer between the bolt head and the hitch.
Wear safety glasses at all times during installation. Support the exhaust to prevent damage when removing the muffler hanger brackets. Never exceed your vehicle manufacturer's recommended towing capacity when using the hitch.
Periodic inspection of the trailer hitch should be performed to ensure all mounting hardware remains tight and structural components are secure. Check that all fasteners have not loosened over time.
Yes. The vehicle must have existing weldnuts on both frame rails. The hitch bolts into these weldnuts; no drilling is required.
You need 19mm, 17mm, and 12mm sockets. The 19mm is for the M12 bolts, 17mm for the recovery loop, and 12mm for the muffler hanger brackets.
Temporary. The muffler hanger brackets and isolator are removed in Step 1 and reinstalled in Step 5 after the hitch is mounted and torqued.
The tongue weight capacity is 200 lbs. Do not exceed this limit or the vehicle manufacturer's towing capacity.
