Yes. The main difference is in how the ABS/brake line bracket on the axle is modified. For 2020–2022 models, you must remove the ABS line Christmas tree mount and slot, then bend the ABS/brake line bracket using an adjustable wrench. For 2023 and later models, you pry out ABS harness mounts, cut and slide down the brake line protector tape, and use zip ties and a P-clamp to secure the harness. All other installation steps are the same.
Required tools include: metric and standard open-end box wrenches and sockets, a 5/16" drill bit and drill, a torque wrench, hex key wrenches (metric and standard), a 9/16" crow's foot adapter, a 9/16" ratchet combo wrench, an adjustable wrench, a hose cutter or sharp knife, a hoist or floor jack, two safety stands, safety glasses, an air compressor or compressed air source, and a spray bottle with dish soap and water solution. A flat-tipped screwdriver is also helpful for installing universal nuts.

Raise the vehicle using a hoist or floor jack and support it with at least two safety stands positioned so that the axle can be safely lowered away from the frame. This clearance is necessary to position the air spring assemblies between the axle and frame. Never work under a vehicle supported only by a jack.
The first step is to unbolt and remove the jounce bumper assembly from under the frame on both the driver's (left) and passenger's (right) sides. Then remove the four clip-in studs by prying on the hinged end with a screwdriver and pulling them out of the frame.
After removing the jounce bumpers and clip-in studs, install universal nuts (U) into the frame rail, aligning the holes in the frame with the threads in the nuts. Insert 3/8"-16 x 1 1/4" carriage bolts (N) into the upper frame bracket (D), then install the bracket onto the frame using M10-1.5 x 35 mm button-head cap screws (O). Position the bracket so the large cut-out on the side is inboard of the frame rail and the slotted hole in the center is forward. Torque the hardware to 38 lb.-ft. (52 Nm).
1. Install the swivel elbow fitting (W) into the top of the air spring finger-tight, then tighten an additional one and a half turns. Place a roll plate (K) on top. 2. Insert 3/8"-16 x 1 1/4" carriage bolts (N) into the square holes on the brackets, then secure the upper air spring bracket (E) using 3/8"-24 x 7/8" hex bolts (X), 3/8" lock washers (Y), and 3/8" flat washers (S). Push the brackets as far forward as possible and torque to no more than 20 lb.-ft. (27 Nm). 3. Flip the assemblies over and place a roll plate on the bottom. 4. Install the lower bracket cup (C) onto the lower bracket (B) using a 5/16"-18 x 3/4" carriage bolt (Q) and 5/16"-18 serrated flange lock nut (R). Snug but leave loose enough for the bracket to move freely.
For vehicles with sway bars: use the holes farthest away from the flanges for the left (driver's) side and the holes closest to the flanges for the right (passenger's) side. For vehicles without sway bars: use the square holes farthest away from the flange for both sides. This positioning prevents interference with the sway bar.
For 2020–2022 models: 1. Remove the ABS line Christmas tree mount from the bottom left-hand side of the ABS/brake line bracket. 2. Remove the ABS line from the top of the bracket by pulling it out of the slot. 3. Using an adjustable wrench, bend the top of the ABS/brake line bracket back enough to clear the roll plate. 4. Tie off the ABS line to the brake lines. 5. Make clearance for the lower air spring roll plate by bending the upper brake line/ABS harness/vent tube bracket, holding the bottom with one wrench and bending the top back and down with another.
For 2023 and later models: 1. Pry out the top left, bottom left, and top right ABS harness mounts from the brake line/ABS harness/vent tube bracket on the axle. 2. Cut the tape around the brake line protector and slide it down. 3. Zip tie (FF) the harness as shown in the manual. 4. Install the P-clamp (QQ) around the right ABS harness and attach it to the inside hole on the bracket section using a 1/4-20 x 3/4" hex head bolt (RR), two flat washers (TT), and a lock nut (SS). 5. Zip tie the parking brake harness to the brake line coupler.
For the driver's (left) side: Remove the rearward fifth wheel bracket hardware and set aside. Locate the two M10 bolts holding the brake line bracket to the frame, unbolt both, and pull the bracket away. Install the 50 mm set screw (Z) into the rearward threaded hole, leaving about 30 mm (1.20") protruding. Set the upper brace (G) over the set screw against the frame, ensuring the hole in the rear lines up with the fifth wheel bracket hole. Set the stock brake line bracket over the set screw and on top of the brace. Thread the M10 serrated flange lock nut (DD) onto the set screw. Reinstall the factory fifth wheel hardware or use supplied 5/8" hardware (AA, BB, CC). Leave loose at this time. For the passenger's (right) side: Remove and discard the clip holding the O2 sensor wiring harness (if present). Remove the factory fifth wheel hitch hardware from the frame holes and attach the upper frame brace (F) using the removed hardware or supplied 5/8" hardware (AA, BB, CC). Leave loose at this time.
1. With the vehicle supported by safety stands, drop the axle or raise the body so the assemblies can be positioned between the axle and frame. Install the U-bolt (M) around the leaf spring spacer before installing the assemblies. 2. Set the driver's (left) and passenger's (right) assemblies into position so the lower bracket sits on the axle. For sway bar vehicles, insert carriage bolts through the clamp bar (A) as you set the assemblies into position. 3. Insert the U-bolts into the middle holes on the lower bracket and cap with 3/8" flat washer (S) and 3/8" nylon lock nut (LL). Snug bolts evenly, just enough to hold the lower bracket main plate flush against the stock U-bolts. 4. Ensure the 90-degree fittings point inboard toward the center of the vehicle. While raising the axle or lowering the body, align the previously installed upper frame bracket carriage bolts with the air spring bracket/frame brace holes. Cap all carriage bolts with 3/8" serrated flange lock nuts (V). Snug first, then torque to 31 lb.-ft. (42 Nm).
The M10-1.5 x 35 mm button-head cap screws (O) and 3/8"-16 x 1 1/4" carriage bolts (N) used to install the upper frame bracket (D) should be torqued to 38 lb.-ft. (52 Nm).
The 3/8"-24 x 7/8" hex bolts (X) used to secure the upper air spring bracket (E) should be torqued to no more than 20 lb.-ft. (27 Nm).
The 3/8"-24 x 7/8" hex bolts (X) used to attach the lower bracket main plate assemblies to the air springs should be torqued to no more than 20 lb.-ft. (27 Nm). The 3/8"-16 x 1" carriage bolt (EE) and 3/8"-16 serrated flange lock nut (V) used to attach the lower leg adapter (I) should be torqued to 16 lb.-ft. (14 Nm).
The 3/8" serrated flange lock nuts (V) that cap the carriage bolts connecting the air spring bracket and frame brace to the frame should be torqued to 31 lb.-ft. (42 Nm).
If using the supplied 5/8" hardware (AA, BB, CC), torque to 150 lb.-ft. (203 Nm). If using the stock fifth wheel hardware that was removed, torque to 180 lb.-ft. (244 Nm).
The M10 serrated flange lock nut (DD) on the driver's (left) side brace should be torqued to 37 lb.-ft. (50 Nm).
The 3/8" flat washers (S) and nylon lock nuts (LL) used to attach the lower clamp bars (A) over the carriage bolts under the axle should be evenly torqued to 16 lb.-ft. (22 Nm).
The U-bolts (M) should be snugged evenly just enough to hold the lower bracket main plate flush against the stock U-bolts, then finished by torquing to 10 lb.-ft. (14 Nm).
Yes. You must drill a 5/16" (8 mm) hole for each Schrader valve location. The manual does not require drilling for the main bracket installation, but drilling is necessary for the air line inflation valve installation. You will need a 5/16" drill bit and a drill.
Yes. For 2020–2022 models, bending of the ABS/brake line bracket is required using an adjustable wrench. For 2023 and later models, cutting of the brake line protector tape is required. Additionally, if your vehicle has a sway bar, you may need to cut the carriage bolt off just below the nut to prevent contact with the sway bar. These modifications are permanent.
The manual recommends three locations for the Schrader valves: (A) inside the fuel tank filler door, (B) inside the rear wheel wells, or (C) in the license plate or rear bumper area. Choose the location that best suits your vehicle and driving preferences.
Make clean, square cuts with a razor blade or hose cutter when cutting the air line. Do not use scissors or wire cutters. Use zip ties (FF) to secure the air line to fixed points along the chassis. Do not pinch or kink the air line. Leave at least 2" (51 mm) of slack in the air line to allow for movement that might pull on the line. The minimum bend radius for the air line is 1" (25 mm). Keep at least 6" (152 mm) of clearance between all air lines and the exhaust system. Avoid sharp bends and edges.
Drill a 5/16" (8 mm) hole in your chosen location. Install the Schrader valve through the hole from the inside of the vehicle body or bumper. The valve assembly includes a rubber washer (HH), flat washer (GG), star washer (II), and valve cap (CC). Secure the valve with the hex nut (JJ) on the outside. Route the nylon air line (KK) from the valve to the air spring assembly.
The maximum air pressure is 100 PSI (7 BAR). Never inflate the air springs beyond this pressure. The minimum recommended air pressure is 5 PSI (0.34 BAR).
You must keep at least 6" (152 mm) of clearance between all air lines and the exhaust system. If a heat shield is included in the kit, install it. Slide the air line thermal sleeve (MM) over the air line and place it where the air line is closest to the exhaust. Maintain at least 1/2" (13 mm) of dead air space between the heat shield and the exhaust.
Inflate the air springs to 40–60 PSI (2.8–4.1 BAR) and ensure there is at least 1/2" (13 mm) clearance from anything that might rub against each sleeve. Be sure to check the tire, brakes, frame, shock absorbers, and brake cables.
If a heat shield is included in the kit, you must install it. Attach the metal heat shield (NN) to the exhaust pipe or exhaust resonator using hose clamps (OO, PP, or both). Slide the air line thermal sleeve (MM) over the air line and place it where the air line is closest to the exhaust. Maintain at least 1/2" (13 mm) of dead air space between the shield and the exhaust. If a heat shield is not included but one is required, call Air Lift customer service at (800) 248-0892.
Do not exceed the maximum GVWR or payload rating as indicated by the vehicle manufacturer. Although the air springs are rated at a maximum inflation pressure of 100 PSI (7 BAR), the air pressure actually needed is dependent on load and GVWR. Consult your vehicle's door jamb label or owner's manual for the specific GVWR and payload rating.

The serrated flange lock nut (R) that holds the lower bracket main plate and lower bracket cup together is difficult to tighten due to its location and the serrated design. It may be necessary to flip the wrench over a couple of times and/or move from the front/back side of the axle to get this nut properly tightened.
