ARIES hood-mounted light brackets are the perfect way to add LED lighting to your vehicle. They feature an easy, universal design with a low profile that allows them to securely mount onto virtually any vehicle hood. Simply clamp them onto the hood, near the windshield, with the included hardware and hex wrenches. These hood light mounts readily accept square LED lights, such as ARIES 2" square lights #1501252, or other offroad lights and LED light bars. To keep the lights firmly mounted in place, each hood light bracket comes with a rubber sleeve that resists slipping and helps protect the finish of your vehicle from being scratched. These hood brackets for lights are constructed from 304 stainless steel to be highly corrosion-resistant. Two brackets are include with this package. NOTE: These hood light brackets are for offroad use only and are not DOT-approved.

The kit includes 2 light mounting brackets, 2 M6 hex cap screws, 2 M6 flat washers, 10 M5 set screws, one 2.5mm hex key, and one 5mm hex key.

You need a 2.5mm hex key and a 5mm hex key. Both are included in the kit. A torque wrench is recommended to achieve the specified torque values (1.8 ft-lbs for M5 bolts, 3 ft-lbs for M6 bolts).
1. Using the 2.5mm hex key, loosen the five set screws to fully open the light mounting bracket. 2. Place the bracket in the desired position on the vehicle and tighten the five set screws with the 2.5mm hex key to secure it. 3. Place the light onto the bracket and secure it using the M6 hex cap screw and M6 flat washer with the 5mm hex key. 4. Tighten all hardware to the specified torque values.
The M6 hex cap screw must be tightened to 3 ft-lbs. This applies to the fastener that secures the light to the mounting bracket.
The M5 set screws must be tightened to 1.8 ft-lbs. These fasteners secure the bracket to the vehicle.
Clean the bracket with mild automotive detergent and water only. Do not use dish detergent, abrasive cleaners, abrasive pads, wire brushes or similar products, as these will damage the finish. After installation, wax the bracket to protect it. Regular waxing is recommended to add a protective layer. Do not use any polish or wax containing abrasives.
Periodic inspections should be performed to ensure all mounting hardware remains tight. Retighten fasteners if needed using the specified torque values: M5 set screws at 1.8 ft-lbs and M6 hex cap screws at 3 ft-lbs. Wax the bracket regularly to maintain the protective finish.
