Yes, the 55-0000 license plate relocator is compatible with 1976-06 CJ/YJ Wrangler Front Tubular Bumpers.
The kit includes: 1 license plate relocator, 1 nut plate mounting bracket, 1 8mm x 35mm hex bolt, 1 8mm x 75mm hex bolt, 1 8mm lock washer, 4 6mm x 20mm button head bolts, 4 6.5mm ID × 20mm OD flat washers, and 1 nut plate. Note: the manual lists two different hex bolt sizes and washer types, which may vary by application.
Attach your license plate using 4 6mm x 20mm button head bolts and 4 6.5mm ID × 20mm OD flat washers. Insert the bolts through the washers and license plate holes, then secure them to the relocator.
Remove all contents from the box and verify that all parts are present before starting installation. Read the instructions carefully.
Insert the nut plate mounting bracket into the opening on the bumper with the nut facing toward the back of the bumper. Hold it in place while securing the license plate relocator.
After securing the relocator with the hex bolt and lock washer, level and adjust the license plate relocator to align properly with the bumper before fully tightening all hardware.
Wax the product after installing to protect your investment. Regular waxing is recommended to add a protective layer over the finish. Do not use any type of polish or wax that may contain abrasives, as this could damage the finish.
The relocator is secured with either an 8mm x 75mm hex bolt and 8mm lock washer, or an 8mm x 35mm hex bolt and 8mm flat washer, depending on your bumper model. The manual specifies two different configurations but does not clearly indicate which applies to which vehicle.
