The ARIES 3" bull bar is made for those who face the uncertain road without fear. This particular model is constructed from strong carbon steel and finished in a durable E-coat and semi-gloss black powder coat finish to outlast rust and the elements. Other available finishes include high-gloss black stainless steel, polished stainless steel and textured black steel. Customizing the look of your vehicle is simple with the ARIES 3" bull bar. It is equipped with pre-drilled light mounting holes and a removable skid plate. The center crossbar features two pre-drilled holes that readily accept an LED light bar or two LED work lights. The skid plate is made from 304 stainless steel and has a brushed finish to stop rust and hide scratches and scuffs. It also features an aggressive, ARIES-exclusive cutout pattern and can be removed for a customized look. Each ARIES 3" bull bar is made a vehi cle-specific design, meaning that for each make and model, the bull bar has a custom bend and unique mounting brackets. This allows for the best possible fit on your vehicle and ensures solid attachment. The brackets also use pre-existing factory holes in the vehicle's frame to eliminate drilling, speed up installation and increase rigidity. This bull bar fits select model years of the Toyota 4Runner (see application info to verify fitment).

No. You access the factory bumper mount bolts from under the front of the vehicle after removing the plastic splash guards. The bumper cover remains in place; the frame mounting brackets insert into the opening at the back of the bumper cover.
Remove the driver side and passenger side plastic splash guards from under the front of the vehicle. The plastic center splash guard may also be removed for better access to hardware if necessary. Place them on a clean, stable work area and note the type and location of all factory fasteners for reinstallation.
Yes. Apply masking tape to the openings in the bumper to protect the painted finish during bracket installation.
Insert the frame mounting bracket into the opening at the back of the bumper cover and line up the 3 slots in the bracket with the 3 factory bumper bolt locations. Secure the frame mounting bracket using the 3 factory bolts you removed earlier. Snug but do not fully tighten the hardware at this stage. Repeat for the passenger side bracket.
