This particular model is constructed from strong carbon steel and finished in a durable E-coat and semi-gloss black powder coat finish to outlast rust and the elements. Other available finishes include high-gloss black stainless steel, polished stainless steel and textured black steel. Customizing the look of your vehicle is simple with the ARIES 3" bull bar. It is equipped with pre-drilled light mounting holes and a removable skid plate. The center crossbar features two pre-drilled holes that readily accept an LED light bar or two LED work lights. The skid plate is made from 304 stainless steel and has a brushed finish to stop rust and hide scratches and scuffs. It also features an aggressive, ARIES-exclusive cutout pattern and can be removed for a customized look. Each ARIES 3" bull bar is made a vehicle-specific design, meaning that for each make and model, the bull bar has a custom bend and unique mounting brackets. This allows for the best possible fit on your vehicle and ensures solid attachment. The brackets also use pre-existing factory holes in the vehicle's frame to eliminate drilling, speed up installation and increase rigidity. This bull bar fits select model years of the Toyota Tacoma (see application info to verify fitment).

No, you do not need to remove the factory bumper. Installation begins by removing only the 2 factory bumper mount hex nuts located toward the outside of the bumper mount and frame channel. These nuts are reused to secure the driver side frame mounting bracket to the factory threaded studs.
1. Remove the 2 factory bumper mount hex nuts on the driver side and hang the driver side mounting bracket from the threaded studs using the factory hex nuts (do not tighten). 2. Insert a 12mm spacer washer between the bracket and frame, then insert a 10mm × 120mm hex bolt with a 10mm × 30mm large flat washer through the oval hole, spacer washer, and into the frame channel. Place another 12mm spacer washer over the bolt at the back of the frame channel, then secure with a 10mm × 20mm small flat washer, lock washer, and hex nut (snug but do not tighten). 3. Repeat steps 1–2 for the passenger side, then reinstall the factory tow hook. 4. With assistance, line up the bull bar mounting tabs with the frame mounting brackets and bolt the bull bar using 4 10mm × 30mm hex bolts, 8 10mm × 20mm small flat washers, 4 lock washers, and 4 hex nuts (snug but do not tighten). 5. Level and adjust the bull bar, then tighten all hardware. 6. Perform periodic inspections to ensure all hardware remains secure.
