ARIES 4" oval side bars are sleek, strong and custom-fitted to be a highly functional extension of your truck. ARIES 4" oval side bars are made with strong 4" elliptical tubing and are available in two different finish options to allow you full customization: polished stainless steel and black powder coat carbon steel. This set of side bars is constructed from 304 stainless steel, meaning high nickel content to be truly stainless. They easily resist rust and corrosion and feature a highly polished finish that is made to last. Something that sets the ARIES 4" oval side bar apart from all others is its blended end caps and OE-style bends. Rather than capping our side bars with a plastic cap, we offer a blended end cap for a smooth, finished appearance. We also equip the ends with a special 20-degree bend and original equipment styling to perfectly contour to your vehicle. ARIES 4" oval side bars are fitted with raised step pads to provide a wide stepping surface. The polypropylene construction will not crack over time, and because it has a textured grip, the surface is highly resistant to slips and skids, even when wet. To add an extra element of class to our oval sides, we also fit each one with a stainless steel insignia bearing the ARIES name. Installation of ARIES 4" oval side bars is quick and easy with custom-fitted mounting brackets and no drilling necessary. These nerf bars fit select model years of the Ford F-150 (see application info to verify fitment).

1. Remove all contents and verify parts are present. 2. Install driver side front bracket: remove tape, insert clip nuts, attach bracket to clip nuts with bolts and washers, then secure bottom to drip rail with bolts, washers, and nuts (snug only). 3. Install driver side rear bracket using the same method. 4. Position driver side bar onto both brackets and attach with bolts, washers, and lock washers (snug only). 5. Level and adjust the driver side bar, then tighten all hardware. 6. Repeat steps 2–5 for the passenger side bar.
Use 2 M10 x 35mm hex head bolts, 2 M10 flat washers (M10 x 20mm OD), and 2 M10 lock washers to attach the front mounting bracket to the clip nuts.

Do not tighten fasteners immediately. Snug all hardware at the mounting brackets and where the side bar attaches to the brackets, but leave them loose. After positioning and leveling the side bar, then tighten all hardware.
Clip nuts may need to be squeezed together slightly to prevent them from falling into the holes. Squeeze them gently before sliding them into place in the factory mounting holes.
The rear mounting brackets are longer than the front mounting brackets. Both driver and passenger side rear brackets are longer to accommodate the geometry of the rear rocker panel mounting location.
