Yes. The hitch has two configurations depending on your truck: (1) For pickups with a factory receiver hitch, bolt the center section to the side plates using the bottom set of holes with the receiver tube under the cross tube. (2) For pickups without a factory receiver hitch or with the factory receiver tube cut off, use the top set of holes with the receiver tube on top of the cross tube. Ensure you use the correct orientation for your truck.
Using the correct orientation for your truck (bottom holes for factory receiver hitch, top holes without), attach the side plates using eight 1/2" × 1-1/2" cap screws, lock washers and nuts. Attach the side plates so the "ears" point toward the outside. Do not fully tighten the hardware at this time.
The fish wire is used to thread carriage bolts through the frame and engage them with locking straps inside the frame. The coil end of the fish wire is passed through the locking strap hole, a carriage bolt is threaded onto the coil, and the fish wire is pulled back through the frame to position the bolt. This allows secure mounting of the hitch to the frame without drilling through the bottom.
Thread a 1/2" × 2" carriage bolt onto the coil end of a fish wire. Position a 1/4" × 1-3/8" × 3" locking strap half-in/half-out in the hole on the side of the frame. Pass the straight end of the fish wire through the locking strap and frame hole, angling it to pass through the forward mounting location in the bottom of the frame. Continue until both the locking strap and carriage bolt are inside the frame. Pull the bolt threads through the locking strap and out of the frame, ensuring the square shoulder of the bolt is fully engaged in the square hole of the locking strap. Repeat on the other side.
Locate the 1/4" × 2" × 2" locking straps and two 1/2" × 2" carriage bolts. Place the locking strap inside the frame so its square hole is visible through the rear frame mounting locations. Pass a fish wire coil end first up through the hole in the locking strap, then up and out of the frame. Thread a carriage bolt onto the coil end of the fish wire. Pull the fish wire and bolt back through the frame until the carriage bolt has passed through the locking strap. Ensure the square shoulder of the carriage bolt is fully engaged in the square hole of the locking strap. Uncoil the fish wire and repeat on the other side.
Place the hitch under the frame and lift until the holes in the ears of the side plates align over the bolts installed in the frame. Secure these connections with 3/16" × 1" × 1-1/2" spacers, lock washers and finish nuts. Hand tighten the hardware at this time. Then secure the side plates to the frame cross member brackets with 1/2" × 1-1/2" cap screws, 3/16" × 1-1/4" × 1-1/2" spacers, lock washers and finish nuts. Install a spacer between the side plate and frame cross member bracket if needed.
Tighten all hardware on the connections between the frame and the side plates to 80 foot-pounds. Also tighten the connections between the side plate mounting brackets on the center section and the rearward edges of the side plates to 80 foot-pounds.

Always use safety chains while towing. Do not exceed the tow or tongue rating of the coupler, hitch, truck or trailer. When towing a wedge car trailer, keep the center of gravity as low as possible by loading heavy cars over the axles; never tow with a single car on the front of the trailer. Never exceed speeds that are reasonable for roadway conditions. Crossing safety chains under the trailer tongue may prevent some damage if detachment occurs. Exceeding tow or weight ratings may cause damage to towing components or loss of attachment between trailer and truck.
Additional caution is required when towing a wedge car trailer. Towing stability depends on keeping the center of gravity as low as possible. Load heavy cars over the axles and never tow with a single car on the front of the trailer. Never exceed speeds that are reasonable for roadway conditions, such as turns or curves.
