Equip your vehicle with our robust B&W Detachable Ball Hitch for a secure towing experience with your gooseneck trailer. The hitch ball can be conveniently removed and stored when not in use, providing complete bed access. The square ball base design ensures the ball won't rotate in the hitch.
The B&W Turnoverball underbed gooseneck trailer hitch offers the perfect balance between functionality and convenience. When towing, the Turnoverball provides a reliable connection with your gooseneck trailer. Once you're done, simply stow the ball upside down in the hitch for a clean look and full bed access.
The robust steel hitch ball included with the Turnoverball system is secured in the hitch using a sturdy, 5/8" thick steel pin. To lock the ball in place, drop it into the hitch hole in your truck bed and rotate the handle until the latch engages. When not in use, remove the ball, flip it upside down, and drop it back into the hitch hole, reengaging the latch to secure the stowed ball.
Unlike conventional gooseneck balls with round bases, the Turnoverball hitch ball features a square base. This design prevents the base from rotating inside the hitch, making it easier to align the pin. The tight fit of the ball base during storage also helps prevent dirt or grime buildup that could cause the ball to seize up in the hitch.
The hitch is custom-designed for your vehicle. The included mounting brackets bolt to existing holes in your truck's frame. Some modification is required, including cutting a 4" diameter hole in your bed for the hitch ball and drilling holes for the built-in safety chain loops. However, there's no need for welding or drilling into your frame.
With a range of adapters and accessories, the Turnoverball can be adapted to work with almost any gooseneck trailer. Hitch balls with built-in rise, offset, and different connection types are available. Add the Companion fifth-wheel hitch for towing your fifth-wheel trailer. A truck bed utility rack is also available for easy hauling of ladders and lumber, with the load placed on the hitch (and therefore your truck's frame) instead of your bed rails.
