This heavy-duty hitch is designed to securely tow your gooseneck trailer, offering a gross towing weight of 30,000 lbs and a vertical load limit of 7,500 lbs. The removable ball can be stored upside down in the hitch when not in use, providing complete bed access. The square ball base ensures stability during hookup, preventing rotation within the hitch.
Note: If your truck's suspension has a stabilizer between the top of the differential housing and the frame, stowing the ball in the socket could cause damage to your truck's suspension.
The B&W Turnoverball underbed gooseneck trailer hitch offers the best of both worlds. It provides a sturdy, dependable connection with your gooseneck trailer for towing, and when you're done, you can stow the ball upside down in the hitch for full bed access and a clean appearance.
The durable steel hitch ball secures in the hitch with a sturdy, 5/8" thick steel pin incorporated into the end of the operating handle. To lock the ball in place, drop it into the hitch hole in the bed of your truck, then rotate the handle counterclockwise until the latch engages. When you're done towing, simply pull the handle out, rotate it clockwise until it unlatches, remove the ball, flip it upside down, and drop it back into the ball hole of the hitch. Then reengage the latch to secure the stowed ball in place.
This hitch is custom designed for your vehicle. The included mounting brackets bolt to existing holes in your truck's frame. While some modification is required, there is no need to weld onto or to drill into your frame. B&W offers a range of adapters and accessories, making the Turnoverball compatible with almost any gooseneck trailer. Hitch balls with a built-in rise, an offset, and even a different connection type are available. Add on the Companion fifth-wheel hitch for towing your fifth-wheel trailer.
