Possible causes include: (A) a wiring error to the bulb and sockets; (B) a bad, loose, or faulty ground on either or both vehicles—pay special attention to ensuring the ground is solid; (C) a blown fuse in the towing vehicle—check continuity of all wires to ground to ensure the harness is not short-circuited; or (D) a bad connection between the female and male plugs—check for a solid connection.
