CURT swivel jacks get their name from the pull-pin swivel feature that allows the jack to pivot on its mounting bracket and swing up and out of the way for travel. Our swivel trailer jacks are broken into two categories: pipe mount and bracket mount. This CURT pipe mount swivel jack features a support capacity of 5,000 lbs., a lift capacity of 3,000 lbs. and a travel of 15". With a jack foot plate welded on the bottom, this type of jack also provides added stability for your trailer on rough terrain. It comes with a side-wind handle and includes a weldable pipe with a 5/8" hole for secure mounting. It does not matter what kind of trailer you tow -- a boat trailer, utility trailer, livestock hauler or recreational vehicle trailer -- if you have a receiver-style trailer, you will want a jack that complements its function. The weight carrying capacity is listed on the product label attached to the jack. Refer to that label for the specific capacity rating. Do not exceed this capacity, as doing so may result in severe product damage, serious personal injury or death.
A weld machine is required. All welding must be performed by an AWS certified welder. Proper tools will improve the quality of installation and reduce the time required.

The trailer MUST be supported per the manufacturer's recommendations before working underneath. Failure to do so may result in death, serious personal injury or severe product or property damage. Additionally, keep people and pets at a safe distance during installation and operation of the trailer jack. Moving parts can pinch, crush or cut, so keep clear and use caution.
Place the pivot tube against the frame of the trailer and align one set of pivot mounting holes vertically. This alignment is critical for proper jack operation.
Use a minimum 3/16" weld all-around the pivot tube. This weld size is required to ensure structural integrity and safe operation of the jack.
Mount the jack to the pivot tube and secure it using the supplied pin. The pin is the fastening method provided in the kit.
