The CURT 19304 is designed to mount on roof rack tubes using tube clamps. The manual does not specify which roof rack brands or models are compatible. You need an Allen wrench. The kit also includes one wrench, though the manual does not specify its purpose or whether it is required for installation.
1. Snap all six tube clamps over the roof rack tubes. 2. Place the fairing on the front of the cargo basket and align the holes in the fairing with the tube clamps. 3. Insert a button-head cap screw (M6 x 25mm) into each hole and place a hex nut (M6) on the back side of the tube clamp. 4. Adjust and center the fairing, then tighten all screws. Do not over-tighten the screws, as this can break the plastic clamps.
Never exceed the factory weight rating of the OEM roof rack, including the weight of the cargo carrier. The manual does not specify a separate weight capacity for the fairing itself. Refer to your vehicle's roof rack documentation for the maximum load rating.
