These are supplied in fastener kit 24852F. The installation also reuses existing 8mm bolts from the vehicle frame.
You do not need to remove the exhaust system completely, but you must lower the mufflers and exhaust hangers to access and trim the muffler heat shields. Drop the mufflers by removing rubber isolator hangers from metal pegs on both sides, and also drop the rubber exhaust hangers located further forward near the rear axle. Spray lubricant on the rubber isolators to help them slide off more easily.
No drilling is required. The hitch uses existing weldnuts in the vehicle frame and existing holes in the frame end panels. However, you must trim the muffler heat shields by cutting out a corner section of approximately 4-1/4" × 4-1/4" from both the driver's side and passenger's side shields using metal shears.
Using metal shears, cut out a corner section of approximately 4-1/4" × 4-1/4" from both the driver's side and passenger's side heat shields. The heat shields must be trimmed and reinstalled before the hitch is installed. Save the bolts that attach the heat shields so you can reinstall them after trimming.

Remove plastic push rivets from bumper cover if needed for access. 4. Remove and trim muffler heat shields (cut 4-1/4" × 4-1/4" corners), then reinstall them. 5. Raise hitch into place and install 8mm bolts through hitch into existing weldnuts. 6. Install 10mm bolts with flat washers through hitch and frame end panels, add conical washers and hex nuts. 7. Install 10mm bolts with conical washers through hitch side arms into existing weldnuts. 8. Torque all fasteners to specification. 9. Reinstall muffler isolator hangers.
